Figment's Voice

With heavy rumours of Imagination getting a large refurb I have one question, who will do Figment's voice. The original voice actor died around the millenium. Will it be another voice actor or just another person?

Dave Goelz (who also voices Gonzo) has taken over Billy Barty's job as Figment's voice. Goelz's voice is currently used in the attraction now, so I would assume should a refurb occur, he will continue. I personally think he does a great job.

That's what I thought. Dave does a great job and although I haven't rode the original Imagination I think he is better than Billy Barty.

That's what I thought. Dave does a great job and although I haven't rode the original Imagination I think he is better than Billy Barty.

BLASPHEMY! Billy Barty's voice was natural for Figment and didn't sound forced like it does now.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree. Billy Barty did EXCELLENT work on Figment's original voice but it didn't have that fun and excited feel that it has now. Dave Goelz really came up with the voice that I would imagine (no pun intended) Figment to have.

No, sorry. Can't agree with you at all. Goelz's voice comes off as incredibly annoying, whereas Barty's had the child-like awe and wonderment that a newly created creature like Figment should have.

Agreed. Goelz only really has to tone it down a but for it to work, though.:lol:
