They actually have indirectly mentioned it twice. In the EPCOT Experience Imagination is on the model. I guess you can count this next one as a mention, they made sure to include imagination as part of World Celebration.
I don't think it's either. To be honest, it looks more like the old proposed space pavilion that was going to replace Horizons before Mission Space happened. Also, Play! Is already represented on the right, so I really don't know what that is.
Notice how the wavy line goes from the left to the right. With some PAST experiences on the left, and some FUTURE experiences on the right. Maybe that means something?
Figured as much still fun to speculate though.
If it did, then I would say it's a good thing figment and the dreamcatcher are on the right, but once again it's probably just art.
That's exactly what they're doing with Guardians, which for some reason keeps growing on me the more I find out about it.
Well, these probably weren't intentional. First off, the only thing indicating Imagination in its current state, is the current paint scheme on the pavilion model over at the Epcot Experience, which was probably done because they aren't quite sure what they want to do with Imagination so they left it as is, as a means of not promising anything. As for Imagination being apart of World Celebration, that doesn't really mean its a reference to anything Imagination Institute related. In fact, the concept of World Celebration perfectly fits the concept of using your Imagination in creative ways, since we as humans have the ability to use our Imaginations to create, which was the main theme/message of the original attraction. In the concept art for the Epcot renovation, despite it being original, modified artwork, the Imagination pavilion does appear in its original colors, and I believe they added extra cloud like shapes in the pyramids.
They aren’t really though are they? It’s probably not opening till next year at the earliest. If they were really working hard it would probably be ready sooner. Remember that has been under construction for a super long time.
Well, when your having to completely gut a pavilion, build a new show building with a larger volume than Spaceship Earth, and install a complex rollercoaster system inside with (hopefully) a lot of theming elements too, oh and throw a once-a-century pandemic on top. I'm not surprised it's taking 5 years to be built.
If the end results in anything close to Rise in terms of experience (obviously it’s a rollercoaster and Rise isn’t) it will all be worth it.
The problem is, it isn't apart of World Celebration. As a matter of fact, it's not really a part of anything right now. Look at this image:
It will be funny if it has problems staying open because it will at least take something from its predecessor.
If the posters are anything to go by, it isn’t part of nature because World Nature prints where just released and Imagination isn’t among them. I realize they are just posters but I think they would know what neighborhood each attraction is apart of.

Once again, even Imagination's poster doesn't reference any of the neighborhoods and is quite vague about what it entails besides dreamfinders ship, the current pavilion paint scheme, and a lack of Imagination Institute references.

This is literally the new festival of the arts paint by numbers they started.... literally means nothing nor confirms anything...
