Rumor Figment, well, to be replaced by Figment

Tangential to the DVC lounge, what exactly is the old Kodak lounge being used for? Cast Breakroom?
Cast office space. The image quality is kinda terrible but you can see a little sign on the door here that says "EPCOT Future World Attractions Office". One of the last straggling remains of the Future World name in the park lol

Remember two years ago when they talked about a long lost character when showing the Imagination Pavilion and then announced... a meet and greet?

Those were the days.
I'll never forget where I was. I was talking with a coworker listening to the panel. All of the sudden, I see the image of the pavilion, and I loudly yelled and then had the embarrassment to explain why when it WASN'T the ride being redone.

I’d plan a trip to WDW just for the Nautilus’ triumphant return.

Seriously, that Golden Book is your blueprint, WDI. I know you’re never giving us V1 back, but V4 being themed to the picture book would be a lovely compromise.

Just a plussed-up version of the original ride. Could easily fit in the current track blueprint.

Would we realistically hear anything about this at D23? I remember last time when they built up imagination all presentation to announce…the meet and greet. Which is cool, but I felt so betrayed. Probably the worst D23 memory for me.

My current bet regarding permits is them being for Magic Eye. I feel like they're about to give Figment a short film or something akin to that. I think they're gonna have him there, the M&G relocated while they re-do the ride so he stays in the park during construction.
Why not just stick him where Mickey is since he’s moving to Communicore Hall?

Where's Mickey currently? Magic Eye right? I haven't stepped into Magic Eye since EO (2nd run) was there so it's been awhile haha.
Right when you walk in he’s to the right. It’s literally two or three steps, not even in the theater waiting area. I’ve used it to get a quick picture when it’s not very known. I haven’t seen the theater show since EO (2nd run) as well.

Yeah I just watched a video of a recent visit and that'd be perfect for Figment actually! Sorry it's been awhile since I visited the theater, it was like, 2015?

What I see may happen, when the center of Future World opens, they’ll move Mickey out of Magic Eye, put Figment M&G there. They’ll be able to close the entire pavilion to do something with it.

If they took Guardians off of VQ, that would eat up Test Track. But the center of future world having the Mickey and Friends M&G will take some of the families into there.

I've already have stated my predictions last year and as of now one is said and done which was Joy leaving.....
Again, the only way we know something is starting to go down is the closure of the DVC member lounge...And then the domino's will continue..

Looks as the Sound Lab Figment is still having a hard time talking so, we're hearing his thoughts and it appears that the open house Figment's movements was updated. He doesn't appear to be as clunky in movement...

It’s honestly so sad just how misaligned/non-working all the movements are on these figures these days. Compare to a POV from 2003 (practically a few months/ a year after this iteration of the ride’s debut) where we see how the figures were initially programmed/intended to animate. The difference is night & day.:

It's odd to me how some of the servos seem to be working currently but they are only partially moving or "drifting" instead of following the proper sequence. You can see this the most with the upper torso of the T&T Lab Dock AA.
