God I hope so. The energy in that stadium will be ELECTRIC!I don't think it will start before D23. They probably want to wait for that venue to generate maximum buzz.

They could start prep work for it before D23, especially if they intend to get it done quickly.I don't think it will start before D23. They probably want to wait for that venue to generate maximum buzz.
Deep down, my cold black heart knows that its not for the ride. They could start prep work for it before D23, especially if they intend to get it done quickly.
But we're getting ahead of ourselves, because this could just be a DVC thing, unfortunately.
I worry Tiana will end up the exception with retheming/overhauling rides these days, not the standard. Given how beloved Splash was, and how much people dislike current Figment, they may not need feel the need to go all out for a replacement. "See, isnt this better than Figment 3.0?" for the bare minimum. I would love to be proven wrong, though. Guess we'll have to see how DINOSAUR and Test Track end up.If the redo were to start in May, that would give a similar timeframe to Tiana's for a redo. If they wanted to, they could do some significant work in that time. This may be more than a simple "shove Dreamfinder in the current ride" and could probably do some significant scene replacement.
Prob won't start in May but I can dream.
If they're already filing permits, if this IS about Imagination 4, it almost looks like this would be done before those two.Guess we'll have to see how DINOSAUR and Test Track end up.
There's a good chance it would wrap before the Dinoland project does, but there's no chance it happens before Test Track. Test Track already has a date and pressure to bring it back online fast, neither of those apply to Imagination. If they're already filing permits, if this IS about Imagination 4, it almost looks like this would be done before those two.
Imagination is empty most days, so it’s not like the capacity it offers is being used anyways. Test Track is extremely popular, so taking that offline will leave quite a few extra people to crowd up the midwaysThere's a good chance it would wrap before the Dinoland project does, but there's no chance it happens before Test Track. Future World struggles without Test Track, however much like it was just fine without Universe of Energy for five years it would do just fine without Imagination.
What I see may happen, when the center of Future World opens, they’ll move Mickey out of Magic Eye, put Figment M&G there. They’ll be able to close the entire pavilion to do something with it.Imagination is empty most days, so it’s not like the capacity it offers is being used anyways. Why would that take almost two years or require a permitIsn't Joy moving to DHS? It could just be for removing her set from the post show area.
Technically The Seas got a small refresh. They added the Finding Dory stuff and repainted the exterior, I swear they did something else also....If imagination is indeed being looked out this EPCOT transformation really was the shot in the arm the park needed. Every pavilion in future world was refreshed besides the seas which I don't think really needs it. Spaceship Earth is also likely next up at some point. Truly would become the largest transformation of any Disney park I've seen.

Because one was filed to install the Figment MnG set last year. The year or so on this one could mean more but I'm not reading into it more then that, just tired of nothing of importance happening to this building. Why would that take almost two years or require a permit
