Performed on keyboards, performed by "orchestra", sang by one person, sang by many people, sang by performers but with different timings, no singers, different arrangements, glitched, un glitched....
Do they still use real orchestas?
I know that a lot of people lately prefer to use the synthetic orchesta programs.

I don't think the small group of musicians featured in that video for FoF qualifies as an orchestra. It's an oft used trick these days to record a few live musicians to lay down on top of synth strings and fool folks into thinking they might be hearing a full orchestra. Now, A Frozen Holiday Wish used a full orchestra and it really shows. Major props to the arranger and orchestrator on that show.

Needless to say a band (orchestra) DID record Festival of Fantasy minus Finale unit which is synth. If you heard the actual studio demo's, you can tell. No synth in sight except for finale.

Well most people call Broadway's musicians orchestras, even though there's only about 10-15 people. That sort of a small number can still record amazing scores

If any of ya'll ever watch this parade over by the Breezeway between Diamond Horseshoe/Adventureland you'll always notice the syncing is way off. You'll hear the nexts float music while seeing the float that is currently passing. Been like this for a long time.

That’s been a bit of trouble spot audio wise for many parades. I think there is an issue with how the audio zones “split” right there and there are less speakers to ease the transition. With FoF it’s very noticeable because the audio varies more from segment to segment, whereas with something like MSEP you don’t notice.

If the parade is even slightly off cue it’s even worse.

There's quite a bit of synth instruments all over FoF actually. It's harder to tell from the parade route, but it's in every unit. Thankfully full orchestra's are still engaged for fireworks shows, that is, unless the music is intentionally electronic a la the Toyland and Trepak bits of Holiday Wishes.

Slightly off topic, that's true, Broadway orchestra's are typically much smaller than in years past and some amazing scores recorded. However, the scores with the smaller orchestras are orchestrated in a way such that it's not like they're trying to fool you into thinking you're hearing an "orchestra" when you're not. The shows orchestrations shoot for a very brassy, broadway pit band sound. Perfect example being Mary Poppins. Bill Brohn only had sixteen musicians to work with for that show. Knowing this, he said, I'm not going to have three violins, a viola, a cello, and a bass hog up six of my sixteen instruments in an attempt to create a lush string sound that simply isn't possible with that size orchestra. He knew such a proposition wasn't going to work so he dispensed with the string section and went in an entirely different creative direction because he knew he couldn't pull of a classic orchestral sound with sixteen players. Unfortunately, some folks try and fail under the scrutiny of ears that know what they're listening for.

I don't hear it in the studio version's..

Crazy to think it's already been a year since the debut of this parade. And judging from this recent vid, it still looks as good as it did when it first stepped off. Little things like the anchor swinging again and adding the flag atop the balloon float are signs that Operations is still taking good care of this parade, despite whatever fears we had about maintenance or lack-thereof.
