One person asked: from Main Street to frontierland, correct? Confirming so I know where to post up for it
Cast member of the parade: Yup! Unless there's a chance for rain, then the parade starts in Frontierland.
Sounds like CADCT, so it might start at splash just for 3/9

Makes sense, that way their promotional footage and photos has the castle in the background. Hoping someone on opening day gets a spot at the train station. Would allow for some wicked shots of the whole parade marching down Main Street.

Scheduled to be Frontierland Step-Off always. That could obviously change but that's where it stands now.

Meaning TV stations? Is something in the works for Good Morning America? Would like to know so I can tape it. I'm figuring the fan community will be there on the 9th.
I don' think they add times after 3PM. Unless they replace one MSEP or MISICI.I wonder if there is the chance they may add a second performance on Sunday? If it proves to be a very busy day? There should be multiple performances! This will be FOF day!!!

I heard a rumor today that the parade will actually start running next week, with the official opening still on the 9th.
Has anyone heard the same, would love it to be true!

Although it is contrary to what has been announced, I wouldn't count it out. Steve did say last week that he was "heading off to Orlando...for the final rehearsals of my new parade". And @mnelson3 mentioned an FB post about Steve being at the final run through, though I can't seem to find the post on Steve's fanpage. Regardless, if this past week really was the last rehearsals for FOF, I could see them doing a performance for the public sometime before the 9th. But don't hold your breath. It's been stated before from insiders that no soft openings will happen before opening day, and they've been pretty accurate so far.

Not true. Opening is the 9th.
Usual Philharmonic March, Followed by Grand Marshall Pre-Parade. Roughly 10-15 Minutes prior to the show.
no soft opens... the first time it rolls down the street for public eyes is the 9th
