First Dress Rehearsal tonight!

Have to admit I was worried about the title banner but it looks gorgeous! They did a awesome job! It looks like its always been apart of that float!

In the very right-hand corner you can see a glimpse of the finale unit. Of all the Jubilation floats, this one is my absolute favorite, and the title banner only adds to it's beauty; simple, but effective. Really thrilled this will be the first thing that guests will see come Sunday.

Tease...

Surprised they went for a "title banner"... as not every parade has one.
Considering they're starting the parade with a fairly large float, the Princess Garden (from Jubilation), instead of with a smaller intro float...I didn't think a title banner would be necessary.
But it looks very nice!

Where did find that? Are there more? Or is it your own? If it's yours, NICE PIC! How did the Dress Rehearsal go?

I'm in Walt Disney World in final dress rehearsals for the Festival of Fantasy parade that opens this Sunday. I'm so excited for you to see it. It's stunning! Tonight was our first big dress rehearsal, and everything is really coming together. Magic Kingdom is about to get a new epic parade I'm very proud off! Stay tuned!

Let's assume that he posted this link purposely. Most of the projects listed require a dark/nighttime environment. So assuming that Steve didn't accidentally post the wrong link, could he be hinting at possible night performances of FOF? Hopefully he will clarify before we get too carried away.

This was from the 3rd, but it's still interesting.
Steve Davison: "Night Rehearsal once again. Hear ye! Hear ye! The fire was hot!"

So that confirms that Maleficent will have flames, not the lit smoke that some had speculated.
Where did you see that?? Does he have another page?

I don't think they were cloning it though, I think the plan is to ship the entire parade out. Not a second version.
It wasn't until yesterday's update that I had seen anybody talk about shipping the one parade to DL. I had seen several sources last week say that they would build 2 copies of the parade (like America on Parade or the old MSEP). Given that it took ~2 months to ship the Electrical Parade from DLR to WDW and train the CMs, I can't imagine that a trans-Pacific journey would be justifiable for a short run

And I've visited Hong Kong twice, both times in the summer, and never dealt with heavy rains or cancelled parades. They do get crazy rain there ("black rain") and the park was designed with extra covered areas as a result, but I don't think that it coincides with the peak summer season in the US
