Favourite Thing To Do on Hollywood Boulevard?

Hi all, just wondered what you favourite thing to do at Disney-MGM Studios Hollywood Boulevard?

Anything off the beaten trail?

I personally love looking at the celebrity handprints!

I always make a beeline for Sid's I have purchased many movie props there. It's always interesting to look thru.

i also love the handprints....but i have a question...i always look for the NSYNC members handprints and can never find them....i remember they did a concert right outside the Chinese Theather and they did a block of cement.....did it ever make it out infront or did they do this just for show and its not in front?? i always was wondering that

I've seen quite a few people do their hand prints and they never made it out in front of the theater. I believe it's only done for show. Also, if you look at all the dates, most of them are from 89, 90, 91.

While Sunset Blvd is where im staying (lol) i like alot of things on Hollywood Boulevard too. It usually the most peaceful part of the park. I like sitting on the benches and people watching.


BTW, I know some NSYNC handprints are on theside of the Dino BLDG at PH, and the Sigs are at Virgin Mega, 2nd floor, by the dj booth

I used to buy props there being a collector of Movie Wardrobe and Props but the shop is just horrible now. We went there last Wed. and they had hardly ANYTHING from movies. Most of the items were from Soap Operas.

I heard from some of my fellow collectors that 20th Century Fox pulled most of their items back from Disney to auction on their own site foxauction.com. Disney sold a lot of items mis-labled and lost a lot of money on some sales just because they did know what they were doing. I myself bought a few items from Alien 3 and Alien Ressurection that they sold to me very very cheap and with the wrong COA on them. I had a company called Starwares confirm that the items were indeed different than the lables and sold for nearly 1,000$ less than they should have......

I hope they re-do this shop and the one in PI so that we can once again look and buy some "real" props from movies and not Soap Operas.

I like to weave in and out of the shops and outside to people watch. Get a little shopping in and still enjoy the atmosphere along the street!:animwink:
