Also...SHOP!!!

Whenever we go somewhere, John and I pack a suitcase full of food for the hotel room and going home we fill it with souvenirs. WELL...last time, we filled it and all the other suitcases as full as possible and still had a huge pile left over. We had to find a janitor who could give us a giant sized garbage bag and some tape, and we got creative. We checked that baby at the airport, and you should have seen the faces at O'Hare when we grabbed it off the belt!!!

Gotta love the Safari Card...immediate seating whenever you go there.

rainforest

I was just about to ask if you had long seating waits - everytime I have gone to the rainforest in DD I am told at least a 1 1/2 hour wait, if not more.

So, I usually just eat at the AK one instead.

The waits usually are long...but I would rather go to the DTD one because there is a lot to do there before and after you eat. What can you do at the AK one while you wait...nothing.

this is a very valid point, but since I have never had to wait more than 15-20 min. @ AK, it seems to work for me. I usually just pass that time by looking throught the shop or having a drink at the cool bar. I guess if I ever encounter a long wait there I will just have to eat my previous words!

Oh, you really should if you ever get the chance. Don't let "circus" in their name fool you. This is like no other circus you've ever seen. (I don't like traditional circuses at all.) It's one part acrobatics, one part opera, one part performance art, one part comedy, and one hundred parts dream. It's just beautiful and one of those things that people of all ages will like. (Both times I've seen La Nuba, I was just amazed at the number of kids whose attention was so focused on the show.)
