Favourite battered food?

Crush Dude!

Back from WDW!Counting down to DLP in November!
You should give it another go. It must have been an off day, because Raglan Road is consistently good and has some fantastic food. The bread pudding is awesome.

I probably will, but with so many more places it will be put on the back burner for a trip or 2!

Just out of interest, what did you have, and what happened?

Service was terrible, had to constantly ask our waitress where our food was when we could find her!

DD had a burger that was inedible just terrible!
GF had the shephards pie and it was vile!
I had Fish n Chips that was very bland and far from good!

In WDW it's got to be the battered chicken breast at cookes in DTD, can't say the fish n chips at the Yorkshire county fish shop when you can't even get scraps! How can u have one of each with no scraps! Come on Disney sort this out!!!!

does the fried chicken at 50s prime time cafe count? loved the macadamia nut crusted chicken from wolfgang pucks but they've taken it off the menu (sniffle), the beignets at pofq, and my granddaughter loves the zeppole from via napoli.

I am from the south (Kentucky) and we love all food battered and deep fried! Some of my friends recently had a cookout and deep fried everything for dinner....broccoli, cauliflower, pickles, banana peppers, green tomatoes. Deep fried cauliflower is surprisingly awesome! Buttery and rich.

I have recently sworn off all fried foods and so have been researching recipes for oven baked goodies that I formerly ate fried. Pinterest has given me recipes for oven baked pickles, green tomatoes, okra, cheese sticks and eggplant.

At WDW, I love the calamari at Kouzzina, the fried doughnut dessert at Via Napoli and french fries drenched in the plastic cheese! :)

Here in Tallahassee you can find just about anything fried. Here is the list from the county fair - oreos, twinkies, funnel cakes, gator, chicken on a stick, pickles, green tomatoes, okra, key lime pie, snickers bars, chitlins (pig intestines and suck), cracklins (pork skin), turkey on thanksgiving. I do not eat most of these!

Our favorites at WDW are the funnel cakes.
