Favorite Spot at Night and Why?

I want to start a new Thread.

What is your favorite spot in the World at night and why? Parks/Resort/Restaurant anywhere. I'd love to hear everyones reasons.

For me.... Epcot! The lighting of Spaceship Earth, Illuminations and just taking a nice walk around the countries is absolutely my favorite. Just reminds me of many many great memories

I really love taking a nice leisurely stroll around World Showcase at night too myself! Like you mentioned, there are so many wonderful things to see lit up in Epcot at night time.

I also really like walking from shop to shop in Downtown Disney at night. Don't know what it is about it, but there is just a different vibe down there at night compared to the day. My wife and kids and myself love getting an ice cream cone from Ghiradelli's and finding some place nearby to sit down and eat it and enjoy a little people watching.

So MANY to choose from for me, hard to just pick one or two!

Memories !

Well for us it was when we arrived at MK after a two hour car journey in Scotland to the airport,three hours to board the plane,nine hours flight from Glasgow to Orlando Sanford,one hour coach to PORS,thirty minute check in,thirty minutes unpacking,thirty minutes to get Disney transportation to MK. And just in time for Wishes,sitting at Caseys eating dogs and fries.We were exhausted but the excitement kept us going,and it's a memory that we will cherish forever :sohappy:

Epcot at Night is awesome...Even better on a late season EMH when WS is not even full of people and rides are walk-ons..I'll even go back to Innoventions plaza and sit in my favorite hallway for awhile just to relax and enjoy my favorite loop.

I also have to say getting back to the hotel at night as many guests are either in the Food Court or back in their rooms it's a quiet night and there's a nice calm noise and the humming of all the lights just make it feel magical IMO.

Great Question!

This is tough because I feel I have so many spots during the night at WDW. At the moment, I feel like it's walking around the World of Disney store at Downtown Disney just taking it all in. My all around favorite would have to be at Epcot right after Illuminations just walking around the worlds completely lost in the magic.

For mee it is sitting on Mainstreet watching the action. We usually grab something from Caseys and people watch. Awesome feeling to be on Main Street at night.

For us it's DHS. Has a totally different atmosphere from the other parks at night. We like to sit by the fountain, people watch, and drinks at the Tune In Lounge....

Tough one! Too many answers!!!

I had a 'moment' on our last night at WDW which we ended at the MK (well you have to don't you!) on the Ferry boat back to the TTC watching 'Wishes' in front of me, the GF lit up to my left and the Poly behind me, and also with the dim lights of the Monorail passing MK. Perfection!!!!

I have a couple that I really enjoy.

• Strolling through Europe, Asia and Africa while sipping on an adult beverage on my way Mexico to get our spot for Illuminations. I love Epcot at night!
• Getting back to Kidani after a long day in the parks. A stop @ the bar in Sanaa to get a drink and head out to the fire pit on a cool evening and have a chat with the CM and the other guests. We have met so many nice people out there. It is great on those cool fall evenings when you want to get close to the fire and stay warm.
• Heading up to the Top of the World Lounge for an evening snack and drink. Then strolling around looking at the amazing views. Many people do not even know about the somewhat hidden balcony that is behind the bar and overlooks the pool and Bay Lake. The lounge can get a little crowded during Wishes, but before and after it is pretty quiet.

For some reason I enjoy HS at night too. Mainly, Tower of Terror. I do enjoy Haunted Mansion as well, it is my favorite ride after all haha.

Polynesian is amazing at night too. Eat at Ohana, drink a backscratcher in the lobby, walk around the resort with all the torches lit. Very cool. Too many places I love at night, but Epcot is still my clear #1.

Best Place

For me it's strolling from GF towards the lake and watching the fireworks from the boat ramp. The nights are mostly have a nice breeze, you can hear the music, just a few people...very nice and relaxing...and the best part it's free.

- Tomorrowland at night makes me feel like an excited kid again
- Walking on the shimmering pathways approaching Spaceship Earth
- World Showcase and DTD are both always fun at night just because I've likely had a couple of drinks
- Hollywood Boulevard at night (not quite the magic of Main Street, but still incredible)
- Sitting by the hotel pool for some late night food and drinks

A few other favorites of ours,
Sitting on the end of the dock at the Contemporary watching the nightime Electrical Water Pageants float on Bay Lake
Walking around the world at EPCOT as the park gets empty. Then viewing the colorful fountain and spaceship earth.
Watching the monorails from below pass by on their way along the rails
Riding the water ferries along down the Sassagoula river from POFQ to Downtown Disney.

I will say... I absolutely love walking across that bridge into Tomorrowland looking at all the Tomorrowland lights at night. That definitely makes me feel like a kid again. Love it! Adventureland is cool at night too. Used to have a slightly better feel to it, but it's still nice
