Source of Rome burning smell
File this one under strange. My fiancee and I were at our local Target last week in the plumbing aisle. I had caught a very familiar scent. I sniffed around (must've been an interesting sight) until I came across a familiar scent.. over at the plunger section. As I'm on my knees in the middle of Target proclaiming "Hey!! Burning Rome!!" I think my fiancee was a wee bit mortified. I swear that the smell of Rome burning on SE is identical. I almost bought a new plunger just to experience SE every day... until, of course I have to use it
We went on SE this past Monday... now all we can think of in that great scene is "Hey!! Burning Plungers!!"
