Favorite Restaurant?

Deja Vu all over again?

Well...I picked the sci-fi...just for the atmosphere.... lunch only...the dinner menu sucks in my opinion...

For some strange reason, this Tramp has a weakness for Tony's Town Square Restaurant...
it's a true delight to sit in the patio section and watch the hustle and bustle just outside the window....and...the menu has some fairly good items too...

both these restaurants are traditional visits for us.

I'm joining Tramp at Tony's. ;) We usually stop there for lunch; they used to have the best antipasto plate, wish they would bring it back...I always had them replace the calamari with more marinated veggies. My better half & I would split one, add a cup of minestrone, and with bread it was a very satisfying meal. Too bad we couldn't get a nice Chianti, but you can't have everything. ;)

Sounds like I've got dinner planned for tomorrow....yum!:)

we ate at cinderellas castle last march and my little girl loved it. she was so exited to see all the characters that were there and to get her picture taken with all of them was great. the atmosphere, food and price were all fantastic

We went to the California Grill for the first time last month and loved it. The food is tremendous and the view is spectacular. My favorite on the menu was the Chocolate Chip Raspberry Souffle' - it was deeeee - lish!:D

I've got to join Mightyduck on at least half of this one. Who wants to eat a sit-down meal when you can be going on a ride. We've eaten only two sti-down meals at WDW in the last nine years. Both were at Whispering Canyon Cafe.

Why sleep?...why pee?....why pick your nose?.....don't waste time, let's get on those rides!

The atmospherics of eating at a Disney restaurant is part of the total experience for some people.
You need to watch the "Tortoise and the Hare" cartoon again and I'll quiz you on the moral of the story.

I can tell you one big reason to eat at a sit down Disney restaurant regardless of the food quality....that bottomless glass of iced tea and cold water tastes pretty good on a hot day!!! Also some of the restaurants really aren't that much more expensive than the fast grub. Take a look at The Plaza Inn for a good example....and keep in mind that cold beverages just keep coming...also did I mention AIR CONDITIONING for during the hot months (and boy can it get HOT!):D

Victoria and Alberts is by far the best restauraunt in all of WDW,but you need to take out a 2nd mortgage to pay for dinner. We eat there every trip. It is unique.

You may have to take out a second mortgage to eat there but you have to understand the context. This is a Triple A 5 Diamond Restaurant. It is the only one in Disney and one of the few in Fla.
This puts it on the same level as Le Bec Fin in Phila., Charlie Trotter's in Chicago, and Ducasse in New York. If you take it in those contexts the price is actually competitive if not cheaper.
Le Bec Fin is Prix Fix at $118 per person before you even look at the wine list.

Uh, Tramp, I don't sleep much, either... ;) And if you saw how little I eat, you'd understand. Food just isn't that exciting to me....there are other things I'd rather do. ;)

To tell ya the truth...we don't spend much time at restaurants during our April visit cuz we only have a week....but with 3 weeks in the summer, I gotta slow it down a little or I'll self-destruct.

I have just as much fun at the counter-service restaurants without having to wait for my food so long--a big plus since I don't usually realize I'm hungry until I'm impossible to put up with (not really a problem when I travel alone, though).

Yeah, I guess with three weeks I could afford to spend some time over dinner.... ;)

Well, I guess I'm a counter service kinda gal. I've only been to one of the restaurants listed on the poll. So even though it isn't a choice my vote goes to Boma.
