Based on my most recent visit, Tokyo Dining. The food was fast, (sushi and sashimi are pretty fast anyway) the service was attentive and the management was professional. However, Via Napoli is one that delivers consistent food quality and phenomenal service. Just observing the General Manger CM in this restaurant was eye opening.

Favorite, as in one is very difficult to pin down here. Many of the WS offerings are so close in presentation, quality, and service.

How about I tell you in November when I get back...?
Sure, like you said though its very hard to pick a favorite. I still have very close second favorites.

The Odyssey...haha.

But why is there not a really good American sitdown restaurant? Buffalo, venison, trout, etc...maybe like Artist Point.

Have tried top 3:
1. Restaurant Marrakesh
2. San Angel Inn
3. Le Cellier

Via Napoli, both French restaurants, Rose & Crown are still on the to-do list for me.

Yeah, very sad, but...Le Cellier is off the table for us now. I will just have to go to the door and get beer cheddar soup to go as some advised they will do if you ask. Without my cheeseburger, now that it is off the menu, I can't go every trip anymore. I will have to get my diamond cheddar fix through the soup alone.

Lunch - Rose and Crown- great burgers, killer potato/leek soup, and other great items too. Wonderful staff and atmosphere, lovely bar, and the most charming pavilion in general.

Dinner - San Angel - Mostly for nostalgia and the amazing pavillion atmosphere. Mexico is so immersive.Indoors but outside. Love it! I am very careful what I order on the menu there. Pollo a la rajas or bust! Actually, they make mean margaritas on the rocks. My DH and I had one that was pretty strong and it rivaled the infamous Lapu Lapu.

And yes. Coral Reef in the 90's....was just about as good as Narcoosee's. The food quality back then was outstanding.

Epcot Area - hands down - Flying Fish

I have always enjoyed the atmosphere at the San Angel Inn at the Mexico pavilion. I can not say that the food is particularly good, but I have a tendency to enjoy the atmosphere at WDW restaurants far above the food quality. Hence, I generally judge by the "experience" without a lot of regard for the food aspect.
San Angel Inn has the night sky, the outdoor patio feel, the volcano and water effect, the mariachi music, and the generally festive atmosphere. The food is typical Disney.

No love for the Electric Umbrella?!?! Seriously, when I was a kid in the 80's,l nothing was better than eating a burger at the Electric Umbrella, then wandering around communicore while my parents finished their food. Also in the early years we always ate at Rose and Crown. Bangers and mash and lamb barley soup was the best! We loved the lamb barley soup so much that after returning home one trip, my Mom wrote (this was before the internet!) a letter to WDW asking them for the recipe, which they promptly gave to her. Since then (probably mid/late-80's) my Mom still makes that soup a couple of times a year, and every time that I have it, it takes me back to those times. Great memories.
