Favorite Radio Station?

DMC-12

It's HarmonioUS, NOT HarmoniYOU.
Hmmm well.. I did have a couple of favs here in Chicago... There used to be a station Called "Energy 92.7 & 5" They Simulcasted on 92.7 and 92.5... Lots of Chicago Style "house" and Techno music... and some "older" dance (older..like 1994..sheesh.. I am gettin old).

But my True fave here in Chicago is 93XRT (93.1 FM WXRT) They are an Adult Oriented Rock station... but they are really progressive, and play lots of deep cuts, local stuff, new stuff... but not too hard of a rock selection.

Up North from Chicago... its gotta be 95 WIIL ROCK (95.1 FM) (WI=Wisconsin/IL=Illinois) They are right on the border. I am just partial to this station cause I grew up listening to them and worked there for quite some time. They are Classic Rock and AOR (Adult Oriented Rock) as well.

And while in Orlando... I like 96.5 WHTQ, Classic Rock.

I have so many fav stations.. but thats just a quick run down of my top favs :)

Mine is XL106.7. I think they are based in Taveres or something, but it is my favorite station.

I also like Magic 107.7 when they do the all Christmas song thing, but their theme song is annoying. It's like, "Magic, 1 oh seven point....seeeeeeevvvvvvvven"

Down here in West Palm Beach, my favorite station is X102.3. They play most of the newest hip-hop and R&B hits. There's also Wild 95.5 here, which plays hip-hop/R&B, but they play a lot of pop and heavy rock music, so I don't listen to them that much.

There's also three stations based in Miami (if I'm not mistaken) that I listen to from here--Power 96.5, Jamz 99.1, and The Beat 103.5. Gater 98.7 plays some nice classic rock too that I enjoy listening to.

The most annoying theme song for any radio station here is Sunny 104.3--if you know it, then you know how horrible it is.

The only time I listen to a station that my parents do is KOOL 105.5 when they play Christmas music 24/7. :xmas:

Most raido in my area is abysmal... so that's why I turn to the internet.

I usually listen to WFMU online (a station between New Jersey/New York). http://www.wfmu.org. It should be noted that this station, while a real, live radio station, isn't really suited for young ears.

My favorite radio station's in Detroit:

1. 95.5 FM Detroit's Hit Music Channel...which is top 40 plus a ton of rap.
2. 93.1 DRQ FM which is mostly just top 40 hits.
3. Live 97.1 Detroit's FM Talk Radio...but only Motor City Middays with Gregg and Michelle.

I'm pretty sure others from Detroit will probably list these stations, too.

Man..the buzz....i cant stand their DJs...they get on my nerves SO fast...plus they play way too much emo :)

94.9 ...not much better. TOOOO corporate...bugs me. I live about 3 miles from their studio and i keep running into their DJs at my local fast food places...they all need diets..bad :)

So-Fla is in serious need of a (legal) modern rock station that doesnt shove a half hour of commercials in your face every hour.

So...thats why im glad i have a 6 disc changer in my car :)

Cincinnati Ohio

1360 Homer - Sports Talk
104.3 KLUV - Christian
107.7 (Dayton/Springfield) - 80's and 90's rock
92.5 The Fox - Classic Rock
97.7 (97X) - Alternative/College Rock
102.7 WEBN - Album Oriented Rock (classic and current)

*see my profile for the best fireworks show. WEBN and Toyota put on the nightcap to Riverfest in Cincinnati with a huge fireworks show from Rozzi's Famous Fireworks. A great way to end the Summer.

BBC Radio 1 (Nationwide) :D

I used to listen to local radio, but the ad's got to be a real pain, R1 has none! My favourite show has to be Chris Moyles @ breakfast :D :sohappy:
