Well, I look at bands like AC/DC and Pantera, they didn't have to change to try and be accepted. They are accepted, and they still rock just the same as always. And they still have the same following they've always had. Metallica's fan base has diminished over the last years, I wonder why.

Just because you like the newest stuff, doesn't mean I have to. Compared to their old music, the new stuff stinks IMO, and I have the right to have that opinion.

I'll continue to listen to Whiplash, you can have your Unforgiven.

edit: And the title is "Favorite Music." The new stuff is definetely not my favorite.

(Psst...I don't mean to start an ARGUMENT...I believe in my last post I said that I'd take Orion and One over anything from ReLoad) Im' just saying, that in my opinion, I think S&(V) is a nice change of pace

Yes, you are entitled to your opinion...I didn't say your opinion was WRONG...I simply said that you shouldn't knock a band for trying something new...It would be a very boring world if all the music sounded alike. Sorry if you thought I was "correcting your opinion" I wasn't meaning to do that.

But on the other hand you shouldnt try and reinvent yourself every album, and forget what put you there in the first place, Im thinking Rush U2 here.

I forgot seven nations ! I love them too !:sohappy: Thanks Celticdog ! :)

Seven Nations played here the weekend before Thanksgiving. If you ever have the chance to see them live ..... GO!! They put on a great show. They played old and new. They didn't wear kilts, but the pipes and fiddle kicked A!!!!

btw, guys (and/or gals) could we PLEASE not argue on this thread? i can't tell you how tired i'm getting of arguements (or heated discussions or anything of that sort) based on opinions. please, i beg you, accept other peoples opinions the same way you'd want them to accept yours. not everyone's going to like the same things you do (or dislike the same things as you) and just because they don't like the same things as you doesn't make them wrong and you right. i'm not demanding anything, i'm just politely asking to please not argue...if you have the need to say something negative about other people's tastes, please do it on pm....this thread was create to post YOUR favorites...not bash other peoples'. thanks so much :D
