We loved POR last year. Stayed in a standard room in building 17 in Alligator Bayou. Very convenient to the main building with the food court and Yehaa Bob and the bus stop. Short walk to POFQ for beignets!
Sweet - I was in the 'Bayou too! Very convenient to everything.

Another vote for CSR. I don't know if that will change with the addition of the new Tower, but for now it's our favorite.

We love the cabins at Ft Wilderness. If you drive, you can bring all your groceries and beer with you; if you fly, WeGoShop will deliver same to your cabin. The cabins are equipped with outdoor grills and picnic tables. Saves a lot of money on meals in the parks, and you get an entire cabin to move around in - no stuffy hotel room...

That’s a bit overkill for 2 people.

My boyfriend and I will be headed down for a week in June and are looking at Moderate resorts for our stay. I’ve always loved the comfort and price of Coronado Springs but with all the construction as well as us maybe not renting a car, we’re looking at other options.
His favorite resort is the Yacht and Beach Club, for both aesthetics and transportation options. He hates the buses which I’ve said are kind of necessary when at a moderate resort but I was hoping for some suggestions or advice!
Definitely POFQ. They are even remodeling the rooms right now at POFQ.

Those are nice but I almost stayed in one but the room ended up having Black Mold in the bathroom so they moved me to POFQ.
I am sorry to hear that. Our room was great and in a quiet corner which was great as this all was a surprise trip for my wife for her birthday.

Yeah I had gotten a remodeled room but the floor was dirty and sticky in places. Downsides of wood flooring I guess. Along with some other issues.

Port Orleans, especially after the total makeover. It used to be dark and musty, now, well.................
We were way back by the waterway. peaceful. Quiet, Beautiful.
