Again, especially when those AAs didn't work.

Maybe I got lucky but I think I only remember riding a few times when one or the other AA was down. I don’t think I ever rode when both were down.

I also never rode GMR when the wicked witch was down which is pretty amazing when you think about it.

"a few times" is too much, for Disney's standards. When there's only 2 AAs down, and at least 1 animatronic is down constantly, that's bad.

I voted for the gangster scene. That scene was maybe one of the best Disney dark ride scenes. The way you entered set the scene perfectly and then the red light stop was sort of unexpected and then.... everything. Live actor, AA’s in a car that drives on and off set, bullets hitting and causing various special effects and then the “no more red light” - what more could you want!?

I agree it's a really great scene. The entire ride had such beautiful scenes. Except Fantasia that was a shoehorn in a the last minute.

Gotcha. Happens to us all! I agree about Alien too. I liked that part, but they could've done much more with it.

I definitely think they could've done more but I am also understanding of why the section was the way it was. Alien is a pretty scary, graphic movie. I know they created the Extraterrorestrial Alien Encounter so they were willing to create a scary ride, but I think anything like the Chestbursters would've been much too dark for Disney. Still I do wish they did a little more.
