What is the singing bowl?o_O I've never heard of it.
In the back of the China Pavilion (the outside portion of the shop, on the far right walking in from the outside), where the movie lets out. There is a small square wooden table with an old green bowl on it with golden handle. it sings if you rub the handles the right way... I can't remember if it is still there. I'm pretty positive it is, because I think my family tried to trick me into telling me it wasn't there anymore. But we'd spend around an hour trying to make it sing. It's just a traditional singing bowl. I got it twice, if I can snag the video from my dad's computer, I'll upload it to show you! It's really fun.. although it sounds kind of lame. You get a lot of weird looks from people, but some people will start talking to you, and cast members join in on the fun. :)

I tried to use my ancient mug at POR and they wouldn't let me. Since I was on the plan I got a new one. Also, the dispensers needing the RF chip won't work. A real Bummer, since I've had these mugs more than 12 years from the original POFQ when POR was Dixie Landings!

Someone should start a discussion about the new soda mugs and whether it is considered stealing if you share your soda with a loved one...;)

We are planning on spending the evening at Boardwalk after an AK day. Can we park there for free? We're staying at AoA, so we'll have a parking pass showing we're resort guests, but not that resort.

My favorite free thing to do is... to sit just outside any park entrance and watch the money get sucked right out of other peoples pockets as they walk in. :jawdrop:
We had people from out of state who did not want to go to the parks, so we just parked at MK and took the trams to TTC and went on a monorail resort tour, then went on resort launches to the MK, had photos taken outside, then back to TTC to Epcot theme park monorail, and took pictures outside. Had lunch at the Shoney's on 535 right after.

I believe both of these activities require park or parking admission to be able to participate, so they are in reality, not free.

Riding on the monorail does not require park admission.

My favorite free things are the poolside parties at the resorts, and watching the outdoor movies at night.

Would love to see a video of this! Had no idea this existed.

My family loves to collect transportation cards from the boats, monorails, and even buses however we have never gotten one from a bus driver. My son was looking at his collection last night.
