There was an alcoholic banana milkshake thingy at the Korea kiosk at F&W that I will want for the rest of my life and probably never find again lol.

What is you favorite drink at the resort?

What a wonderful topic for a thread!

When I think "drink" and "Disneyland", I immediately think of the Carthay Circle Manhattan. And yes, Constance, that's the one with the big ice ball.

Napa Rose Lounge also does great cocktails. And wine selections. And their cheese plate is always perfectly curated.

That's one thing Anaheim does much better than Orlando. Any cocktail I've had lately in any of the "Deluxe" hotels at WDW was like something from a 1990's fancy hotel in Anytown USA. They just don't have the artistry, the ingredients, the showmanship that Disneyland Resort's flagship lounges and bars do.

Non Alcoholic - Pomegranate Piranha Lemonade (Bengal Barbecue) though it would be better with some Vodka!

Alcoholic - Margatino (UVA Bar) and their Margaritas are pretty bomb!

But do you have the drinks from different countries like Epcot or the view of the park and fireworks that Top of the world or California Grill does? ;)

I haven't been to many WDW bars, but I have to think that the selection of World Showcase bars and cafes alone would easily outdo most of what's available at DLR, not to mention all the WDW resort hotels and variety of spots that Disney Springs has to offer. If not then that's pretty sad because at DLR there are only a few standouts, mostly at DCA, a couple of spots at DTD, and the GCH. DLR is virtually the only area in that part of OC that has anything approaching a 3-4 star dining experience and therefore has almost no competition in that arena. Compared to Orlando, Vegas or other tourist big US tourist destination cities Anaheim is sorely lacking in the culinary experience department.

Speaking of WDW bars, has anyone here been to the new Trader Sam's at the Poly? I'm curious to know what it's like.

Reading all this makes me realize that I really need to start being more fancy.

Have you had the Kate & Ella at Napa Rose Lounge? One of the bartenders there told me about it and it is DIVINE. And named after the two sisters whose boulevard runs just south of DCA.
