One of my favorites is Soarin', love that music.

Also from Celebration CD love the Tree of Life Theme, though don't know where that is played in the parks.

Oh so much (in no particular order):

-The theme, area music, and entire score for Horizons
-IllumiNations (of any era)
-Spaceship Earth, Tomorrow's Child of course, the ENTIRE score from the 1994 version with Jeremy Irons (anyone else think his voice should considered music?), and the main theme and ascent tunnel score of the recent version
-Universe of Energy, the original theme songs and score from Theater 2, and the Ellen's Energy Adventure thematic material, especially from during the Big Bang sequence
-We've Just Begun to Dream
-The EPCOT Entrance Loop original and extra crispy, er, I mean current
-There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow
-It's Fun to Be Free and Hub City/CenterCore score
-The Land entrance area music
-The Main Street Electrical Parade
-Soarin' (may you rest in peace, Jerry Goldsmith)
-The Living Seas (none of that Nemo crap, mind you)
-Innoventions area music (so relaxing)
-O, Canada
-Golden Dream
-The Monorail Song
-Fantasmic!
-SpectroMagic
-Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room
-Tomorrowland area music
-Space Mountain entrance music (Promising Tomorrows, if I remember right?), and from Disneyland the on-ride ________ Dale music, and the current version by Michael Giacchino
-The Computer Song from the Astuter Computer Revue at EPCOT Computer Central in CommuniCore East (I loved typing that)
-One Little Spark
-Promise
-Finding Nemo: The Musical
-Magic Journeys
-Tapestry of Nations/Dreams
-Suite of Dreams for EPCOT, Magic Kingdom, and Disney-MGM Studios

And I'm sure I've forgotten something.

Nothing different from what's been said here....SM Star Tunnel, Epcot Entrance Music, Innoventions Plaza Background Loop, Tree of Life theme, Test Track Medley, RoE, Peter Pan's Flight Queue, Magic Kingdom Entrance/Main Street...

Also, to anyone familliar with the music in DL, is there anyone else out there who really likes the soundtrack to their Buzz Lightyear ride over there, plus their new SM on-board audio?

Yes, those pieces are simply amazing! I also LOVE the soundtrack to California Screamin', that is simply wonderful...

What a great thread idea! There is so much music and it is so important to the atmosphere.

Some random music:

Definitely the Electrical Parade - one of my oldest memories!Duh,duh,duh,DUH,duh....er, and so on.

Totally agree with the Tower of Tower 1930's old Hollywood music. Just waiting for Clark Gable and Judy Garland to walk by.

El rio del tiempo - La...la, la, la,la, la, la, etc....

Peter Pan's flight

Space Mountain - I guess mostly sound effects but still cool to hear. One robot on the screen makes a funny sound and I'm having a block at the moment.

Main Street Music - love anything turn of the century

If you could Fly - couldn't get it out of my head. Also, my dad used to sing it but I think he made up the words. "If you could fly....duh,duh,duh, duh - forgot the rest.

WDW Railroad - old song - "Rollin', rollin', on the express..."

Pirates, of course - yo, ho, yo, ho....we know the rest

old tiki room - "In the tiki, tiki, tiki, tiki, tiki room..."

In general, that cool Adventureland music you hear when you first walk in that entrance next to Main Street. A lot of percussion, woodwinds, and shaker instruments ( I am NOT a musician so I hope people know what I mean when I say those shaker-thingie instruments)

I love any track at Splash Mountain - "How do you do....time to be movin' along....pretty good sure as you're born...

"Laughing place" - especially when those 3 little female birds sing back up.

The piece of music at the Haunted Mansion - when the car starts moving backwards during the descent and you see the ghosts flying from the background - the music picks up and scares the heck out of me. The heads that jump up do NOT help. - Also, the organ music at the entrance.

It's A Small World - This can stick in your mind for days....

I've got more....just have to think.

My number one - The day I first walked into MGM so many years ago and heard The Gone With the Wind theme song - waiting for Scarlett O'Hara to pick up those green skirts and scurry past me. Oh, and Rhett Butler passing by would be awesome too.

I know I have totally killed some of the lyrics...don't mind me.:ROFLOL:

OOOH...Good question.

SSE,IllumiNations pre and post show,(w00t for ToN),The Seas even with Nemo and Future World West are all great.I love to hear bits of Soarin' when I'm walking among the waterways of FWW.

*aahhhhhh*

Here are my picks:

Entrance to Adventureland (makes me feel like I'm 10 years old!)
Main Street USA (especially when they were running the Music Man tracks!)
Everything EPCOT (especially Soarin')
and my top pick (drumroll please):

The musical loop at the Polynesian!!

The music I always look forward to hearing is the Tree of Life music loop at DAK.
The music I most seek is the Asia music at DAK.
The music that gives me goose bumbs is the EPCOT entrance medley, Soarin', and Illuminations.
The music that makes me happy-go-lucky is the Main Street music loop.

I have to say I love all the music. The folks at Disney do a really great job choosing the right music for the right mood.

I definitely agree with the majority here that loves Epcot music. In particular, one of my favorites is the Innoventions BGM. The old SSE score too (the finale is my ringtone on my RAZR...I'm still waiting for the day a cute guy comes up to me and asks, "Excuse me, but isn't that the SSE finale?" Then I will have finally found my one true love ). I also have a playlist in iTunes for classic EPCOT CENTER, with It's Fun to Be Free, Energy (You Make the World Go Round), Horizons, and all the old entrance loops, among others....actually, I'm going to open iTunes now and play it!

Is it scary that I have playlists for just instrumentals, attraction/show tracks, and parades/nighttime show tracks?

For MK, my hands-down favorite BGM is Tomorrowland. I picture TL at night, hearing the music, getting a sundae at Auntie Gravity's and hopping on Buzz or CoP before one last spin around TTA.

Fun thread!
