Favorite Christmas Special

Mine's is "It's a Year Without a Santa Claus". I wasn't alive when it cam out, but I still think it's a classic. What's your favorite Christmas TV special?

My honest favorites are the Andy Williams Christmas specials with the Osmonds in them. I would live for them when I was younger and still enjoy them.

I don't know if I have a favorite, I like them all. The first one that pops into my mind is Santa Claus is Coming to Town.

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer (the claymation version)! I'm watching it right now, actually

Mine is "Year Without a Santa Claus", too. Love the Heat and Freeze Misers!! I also love the "I Believe in Santa Claus" song. Sometimes I tear up listening to it.

There is another one I like, but I don't know the name of it. There is a boy and Dad. There is also a mouse and a Dad. There is a broken clock that needs to be fixed so that Santa will come. And they sing a song...

"You hope and I'll hurry
You pray and I'll plan
We'll do what's necessary 'cause
Even a miracle needs a hand"

Eventually everything works out for the best, of course.

I too LOVE all the claymation Christmas Specials. But if I were to choose just one, I'd have to say Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer.

We always watch the Muppets Family Christmas and Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol on Christmas eve. We also loved Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas and John denver's Christmas special with the Muppets.

Here in the UK we had a comedy duo called Morecome and WIse who regularly had tv shows but their Christmas Specials are still shown 30 years later and are legendary! We watch them EVERY christmas!
