What is everyone's favorite place to dine and meet the characters? I personally enjoyed eating and meeting at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary many years ago.

I voted for Chef Mickey's as that is our favorite Character breakfast, but Liberty Tree Tavern is our favorite Character meal (and its not on the list).

Another vote for Liberty Tree Tavern!

It was the best character interaction we have ever had at a meal..... we will make it a must for our trip in April '07!

(They even "played" with my sleeping son and posed for pictures with him!!!! )

Kind of a toss-up...

Liberty Tree Tavern is where my mom went for her Christmas/birthday dinner (hence the name "Carol" ), and they had very good guest interaction.

Crystal Palace is always pretty good.

Garden Grill is where my Hidden Mickeys book was signed by the Mouse himself :D

...However, there's no beating Chef Mickey's for sheer fun. We have a picture of me somewhere, from August 2005, of me waving a towel... at Ohana's. :lookaroun

P.S. My favourite character, however, is now the Mad Hatter, thanks to 1900 Park Fare. :p

Gotta say Liberty Tree was a fantastic suprise, quick seating and characters galore. Another choice - good luck here- is Cinderella Castle - especially if you have small girls! Garden Grill was nice and we got to see MICKEY!

I voted for Crystal Palace. It's always been our favorite for breakfast. A few years ago, we went to Chef Mickey's. It was good, but found it EXTREMELY hot where we were seated. So much so, it was hard to eat comfortably. Also, it was my daughters birthday and we were disappointed as to how little a fuss they made over her. Actually, we were disappointed in general with the characters. I don't believe we saw all of them and the ones that we did see, only stayed a second or two. We ALWAYS have great character time at CP and awsome food. Just my two cents.

We like chef Mickey because the characters have always spent a good amount of time with the kids. The others we went to, the characters felt rushed. Chef Mickey also has decent food at the buffet as well, with a good selection of stuff.

I guess I should have added the Liberty Tree Tavern to the poll! I completely forgot about it!! I haven't eaten there for a character meal...only at Restaurantosaurus and Chef Mickey's.

I love Chef Mickeys, also CRT and CP.

We have only had character lunches or dinners. What does everyone think is better, breakfast or a later meal? We have never had a character breakfast and would like to try them. They are cheaper than later meals, but it is nice at lunchtime to escape from the heat, and have a nice rest in the air-conditioning!

It been a long, long while since Chef Mickey's, but I would have to choose that, out of the choices. But we do eat at Liberty Tree almost every time we are at the World, and I just love getting to see the characters...don't care for their outfits too much.
