Favourtie transformation was when they ditched the abomination that was the cake and returned it to it's natural beauty!

Thankfully, the TP Castle didn't last too long!

It was a dumb publicity stunt, and whoever is responsible didn't even consider that guests who traveled to WDW probably wanted to take pics in front the castle.

. . . and the fact the attraction didn't live up to the HUGE hype Disney put on. Very bad decision after knowing what we know now. . .

I agree. The first time I went to WDW was during the 25th anniversary and I was really dissapointed. It looked so tacky.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I wish I could have seen that. I think it would have been a kinda neat, yet different site to see. It was normal the next day, so I could have had regular pictures later in the trip, plus I have like a million castle pics already.

I'm also in the minority because I actually liked the castle cake.

But, I voted for the Cinderella's castle 50th anniversary design that hasn't even happened yet. The concept art just looks amazing. This is making me rethink my 2005 vacation plans. I was going to go to Disneyland instead of WDW next year, but now I think it'll be WDW next year and Disneyland the following March (like in a little over a year) for my spring break. The 50th will last for at least a year, won't it? If not, I'm screwed cause I don't know where to go.

I can't believe the 1st Euro Disneyland Anniversary "Le Château Gâteau" (Castle Cake) was not a choice, nor the DLP 5th Anniversary Hunchback overlay. Their Castle Cake was how WDW SHOULD have done it.

I say it's best left alone. Although from what they seem to have in store for the 50th ani. for Disneyland, Cinderella's Castle will look amazing!!!! Time will tell.

Well that wasn't, besides the naming, not really a Castle Cake...

I've got it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bulldoze the Castle, and put a BIG STITCH there instead. That will get the popularity of the new ride going. I will go the MK to see a 10-Story Stitch! He can spit water on people on Main Street and he can smell like Chilidogs!!

How does that sound?!?!?! :hurl:

Cheezy as in cheese, as in cheese and mouse, and as in Mickey!

See the connection!?!?!?! :lookaroun

Disney likes doing stuff in a cheezy kind of way now. Ever heard of Mickey Mouse type of operations?

Disney as a Mickey Mouse type of business?!?! Spooky, isn't it? :lookaroun

actually, my favorite transofrmation isn't up there. The transformation from that stupid cake back into the real castle was the best one lol

I think the DL castle fits the theme perfectly. It celebrates a birthday, so it has all those golden crowns. Why is MK's one celebrating someone else's birthday? :veryconfu

Had to dig deep for this one, but here it is below. I like this one WAY better than that piece of garbage Hostess Pink Snowball Cupcake that WDW did.
