Favorit Meal At Le Cellier Steakhouse

We are on the dining plan and will be going to Le Cellier for the first time, we have looked at the menu and were wondering what is your favorit [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]appetizer, [/FONT][FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]entree and [/FONT][FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]dessert.[/FONT][FONT=Georgia, Arial][/FONT]

The pretzel bread they give you is DELICIOUS. (I asked for more.)

The cheddar cheese soup is a fan favorite. (I first tried it at the Food and Wine festival.)

My petite fillet with garlic demi glace (lunch menu) was one of the best steaks I'd ever eaten. The cream cheese mashed potatoes that came with it were also so amazing, we've taken to making them that way here at home as well.

I've only had a birthday cake for dessert there (I was there for my bday and they ordered me a full cake) so I don't know about the normal options.

But I can't recommend the steak enough. Oh man was it good! :slurp:

Yummm!!! I agree and the pretzel bread is great. I usually don't have room for dessert, but DH gets Creme Brulee every time

I second that with the exception of the Creme Brulée, and sub in the Whiskey Chocolate Cake. :slurp:

Just a note: Lunch and dinner have different versions of the steak:

Lunch: [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]5-Oz. Filet Mignon - served over cream cheese mashed potatoes, finished with a roasted garlic demi glace

Dinner: [/FONT][FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]7 oz. Filet Mignon - glazed with maple barbecue sauce and accompanied by cream cheese mashed potatoes

Either way though, you really can not go wrong!!
