Over the years Disney has put out some pretty good Commercials.

I have a few faves...

The whole Magic Happens series of Commercials a while back rocked!

Also the WDW Commercial where the adult son is sitting in his office and talking to his mom on the phone.The Mom and Dad are going to WDW and the son is wanting to go with them but the Mom says no since he has a family of his own now.

Good stuff.

That one is a good one. I also like the one where the fathers reflection in a mirror shows he is an adult, but when at the parks he is a kid...totally me, too. I love the one where the kid and then the dad say "too excited to sleep...and my son loves the one with the horses coming and the parents are on the computer realizing they can afford it. You cannot talk when that one is on.:)

I just thought of a funny/ironic commercial. Remember the one from the late 80's/early 90's with the Huxtables at WDW singing "Zip-A-Dee-Do-Da"? I think it's pretty ironic considering the whole blown-out-of-proportion Song Of The South controversy...

I love the "Too Excited to Sleep" one and also the 20th Anniversary commercial from 1991. The one that counts from 1-20 with each showing one of the 20 new attractions/shows for the anniversary. Then they yell "One More Time!" and repeat the 20.

I want to say that was set to the Russian Dance from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker, but does anyone know for sure? :shrug:

I also love those new Orlando (not just Disney) commercials set to "Time Machine" by The Click Five when the parents become kids and play with their own children, but at the end, they revert to adulthood.

i love the too excited to sleep , the dog one, and the one with the 'little souvinear'. in general i love them all bc they show disney and how much fun

the one for orlando with the girl and her mom or the one with the boy and his dad is also cute

but off topic, since we always stay on property at disney owned hotels, and absolutely luv the resort tv stuff
( i can not stand appliance direct commercials, which i use to think they were blcoked since i only saw them at resort hotels on the ocean or gulf, and continued to think that until this past trip and it was all over one of the channels)

Does anyone remember the spelling bee one? There's a girl on stage about to spell the word "microphone". As the girl spells it, she gets to "M...I...C", then a grandfather in the audience blurts out "K, E, Y!" Soon, the whole room of parents and adults begins to sing "M...O...U...S...E...Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck!" and so on. I loved the expression of one of the kids at the end, as he hunches low in his seat, so embarrassed to see adults, and his parents, acting like that. :lol:

Ah, memories... :rolleyes:

The only commercial to ever bring a tear to my eye is the one where there is a boy sleeping in the turn of the century and the parents walk in and say goodnight.

They both chuckle at all the pictures laying all over his bed and the dad asks where does he think up all these things....

Then he walks out and turns around and says "Goodnight Walt"
