Fate of Sci-Fi Cafe? Are we going to lose this too?

I'm guessing they don't replace the clips so that table turnover remains high. Lingering to see what's new and/or to watch the new stuff again might be bad for business.
I get what you're saying but you're typically there long enough to see the loop multiple times during your meal. Also with genie + times and such, I don't see too many people lingering. Some new clips wouldn't hurt.

we go there every couple of years. our last visit could’ve been better. our server was pretty slow & hard to find after awhile. that wouldn’t stop us from going there again.

I love the film and hope they don’t replace if, through it would be great if they had a rotation of two or three films so that repeat diners might see something different.
Thats what I said. There are many many great sci fi clips to choose from. If they keep it as is thats fine for the guest whose going once or twice, but if you go regularly over time, running the same clips get boring. i can probably tell you what each clip is going to be in order.

Between seating, ordering and eating and waiting for payment weve seen the entire clips run. And run over again. Its interesting but not so that diners are going to sit and waste a lot of park time. Theres enough wasted waiting in lines.
Agreed but when did sci fi open? People are saying it's been the same clips since opening. Would once a decade or two cause a big disruption? Lol
It opened in 1991.

Have they refreshed anything since 1991? I'm guessing the movie screen and projector have been upgraded probably a couple of times? And I'm sure the cars are freshly painted every so often.

Sorry, I misunderstood—I thought you meant they should replace the film altogether.

its still a lot of fun I dont think its going anywhere, however the current menu is horrible and I think its having a negative impact on the place, between that and the bad service were not going back for awhile. They took away all the fun food and now only doing nothing but burgers and a lousy chicken pasta dish, its gone way down hill.
