I arrive on Monday afternoon and anticipate being at the Magic Kingdom by 3pm. What are the chances that their will be fastpasses available for Splash Mountain, BTMR or Buzz Lightyear?

The park is open until 10, meaning the crowds will be somewhat higher. I would say that you might have a chance at getting a fastpass for sometime later in the evening.

I can't speak for the MK, but I did get Fastpasses for Rock n RollerCoaster and Tower of Terror around 4:00. It was June and busy too.

Another FastPass question........

Can you still use FastPasses after the return window has passed? I know you could the last time I was there (2007), I was just curious if this was still OK? Thanks!

Hi there.
Yes, you can usually use it after the allotted time.
We do it all the time and the CMs never blink at it and we get on the ride.
If it is busier however, the CM may not allow it.

My guess is that you can. The only rides that probably is not true for are Toy Story at DHS and Soarin at Epcot they seem to go out early in the day.

Another question - I plan on getting a fastpass for Kilimajaro Safaris at AK at 9am. What time do you think the return time will be on it (I ask just in case it is busy and they do not allow me to return much later in the day.

It won't busy enough for them to not let you come back later in the day (at least in any way that I can make sense of it). If you get there at 9am, you might want to consider just hopping on the ride. Your wait will be minimal since you are going to be one of the first people there. If you do get a fastpass, figure about an hour until your ride time.

I agree...if you're going to get the at 9, just get on it right then.
We always do that and wait no more than 20 minutes.

I am going on a EMH night and I want to see the Safari twice. So my plan was to get a fastpass at 9am (save it for later in the day, 4 or 430pm) before the safari closes (but of course that means I will be holding the fastpass ticket for hours). I am going to get on the safari as well at 9am.

What are the normal wait times for the safari (without a fastpass) in late afternoon (2-5pm)?

I had read touring plans and they suggest getting a fastpass for EE, but because I am going on an EMH night - I will ride that later on in the evening.
