Fastpass for "The Great Goofini"?

I believe there are only two trains. I have seen the wait up to 45 minutes over the years myself.

I would say they have Fastpass for the same reasons Winnie & Peter Pan have them.

The number of guests wanting to ride greatly exceeding the rides hourly capacity is the primary criteria for an attraction getting fastpass.

Are the fastpass machines visible for Barnstormer right now? What about Dumbo? Speaking purely out of speculation, I wouldn't be surprised to see the current style of Fastpass machines be outright eliminated in favor of machines that don't dispense paper Fastpasses but rather digital Fastpasses.

I'm not sure that would work well. For folks who already struggle to understand Fastpass (especially those who speak very little English), that would be too confusing. Heck, I'd have trouble remembering when I could return...

Rumor is that more and more attractions will have fastpass. The way Disney sees it, more fastpass attractions = more attractions ridden in a day = happy guests = more $ and return visits. Dumbo will also have fastpass once more of it's open. Mermaid will too, and I've heard a rumor that the Belle meet and greet will also feature FPs.

So when all is said and done, the only attractions you will be able to do without a Fastpass in Fantasyland will be the carousel, tea cups, train, and possibly Small Wordl?

Have you seen the number of kids in the park?
Exactly. And not for nothing, the rest of us should be happy about this. All those people with 3-year olds getting FPs for Barnstormer won't be able to get FPs for the E-tickets for up to two hours. Isn't that inevitably going to better disperse guests and free up FPs for Splash, Thunder, and Space?

Rumor has it that It's A Small World will be getting Fastpass.

That's the plan apparently. In some cases (like the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom), I expect this to work a lot better than other. There's a bit of equality at the Magic Kingdom where no single attraction stands alone as being remarkably popular. Animal Kingdom also has similar demand for it's two marquee attractions (Everest and Safaris).

However at DHS and Epcot the demand for Toy Story and Soarin' respectively far exceeds any other attraction in the park. Adding additional fastpasses to the system isn't going to change that discrepancy. The only ways to fix that are to address the capacity issues at those two attractions, or add new attractions that approach the demand.

Does anyone know when the FPs for Goofini and Dumbo might be up and running?

As the mother of a two-year old, I'm part of that demographic that will be freeing up FP for the E tickets. :ROFLOL:
