What is Xpass?

In short, a 'reservation' system for fastpass rides (and attractions like reserved viewing areas for Wishes)
What is Xpass?
And don't forget Xpass is on its way.
That's beside the point.
The number of guests wanting to ride greatly exceeding the rides hourly capacity is the primary criteria for an attraction getting fastpass.
As far as I know Barnstormer won't be getting any legacy FP machines. Their auxiliary entrance will only be utilized for next-gen FP and GACs.
Exactly. And not for nothing, the rest of us should be happy about this. All those people with 3-year olds getting FPs for Barnstormer won't be able to get FPs for the E-tickets for up to two hours. Isn't that inevitably going to better disperse guests and free up FPs for Splash, Thunder, and Space?

Not sure. With Test Track going down and the lack of FastPass attractions available for the shorties at Epcot, they may be planning on putting in distribution machines. That was my assumption as well but couldn't get anyone to verify it. Is the same true at places like The Seas with Nemo and Friends, Spaceship Earth, etc?
Yeah. Attractions and experiences (parades/shows) that currently do not offer FastPass will not be given the legacy distribution machines. Guests will reserve their priority access before to their trip and it will be tied to a new RFID wristband. The return process will likely be something similar to the Epcot main entrance testing that occurred last year. For clarification, I assume the "legacy FP machines" are the current models that distribute paper and the next-gen FP would likely be electronic and would be a hybrid of the current FP system as well as xPass?
