May 1st is my very first trip to WDW. I have all the planing guides, and more. My question is. In the morning at opening, EE will be the first ride I want to go on. I understand how the entry to the park works, but which path will take me there the fastest?

If i were you i would go there by taking the dinoland usa path because all the other people will want to go by Asia, these people can get in the way of a darting sprint so get your running shoes on and go via dinoland and the old Tarzan Rocks stage.

Quickest way is the Asia bridge. Longer way with no one else to bug you besides your party (if you are with anyone that is) is Dinoland.

I dunno... Think about it, the entrance is closer to Asia... Well, someone's just going to have to go time, now aren't they?

One thing I found interesting was that there is no "calm procession" to your favorite ride like at EPCOT. There, a couple of CMs from each ride come out and calmly escort you at a walking pace to the ride. At AK, it was more like the Disney marathon!

I suggest hoking up with Tink. She'll throw you some pixie dust and you can just fly over everyone else's head saying "so long suckers!"

I was thinking about this the other day, what if its during march and its not officially open. Do you think I should go over there and find out when and if there gonna open it up for previews that day, or should I just go to the other rides. I usually never go to AK first thing, I have only been to epcot and MK during opening.

And to the original question, I have no idea, I was thinking the Dinoland route, but then again, EE's entrance is near asia, so. I have no idea.

Slade? Isn't that some British Band from the 80's?

Actually, Disney is a no-fly zone. Have some issues there (yes, folks, I'm here all night)

Anyway, from people I have heard from, the Dinoland bridge is longer but faster because it doesn't pull the crowd. Plus, the view of the ride from that direction is second to none.

If you get there early enough, you could drop by guest relations (on the far left side, at the turnstiles) and ask them. That way, you'll know how to chart your course for the day.

But Slade on here is a different kettle of fish - but a jolly good kettle of fish at that :D

Yes, the Asia bridge will be much quicker than going through Dinoland.

When you go through Dinoland, you need to backtrack a little (must go south over the bridge before going north to EE). When you go to Asia, you're taking the most direct route. Not only that, but you will also be closer to the FP machines / entrance than going through Dinoland.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

I know how you can find the answer to your own question.

Here's what ya do.

You go through Dinoland, and whoever you are going with can go through Asia.

Let me know who wins.

*thread drift* the slade I am named after is not the band but a villian from the Teen Titans cartoon series voiced by one of my favorite actors: Ron Perlman. You can see Slade in my avatar.
