Fast Pass clarification

Hi All,

Just a quick clarification on the new fast pass rules. Is the only difference that now you have to go between the allotted times on the fast pass? Is there any wiggle room here or are they strict about it?

I think they are very strict about it (staying within the 15 minutes after... not sure about only 5 minutes before) and I noticed this year there were significantly less wait times on the fast pass lines.

I know there is also a test program of a new fast past system. Something about picking your fast pass rides before coming into the parks. Is there any word on when this is going into effect? We are going in September and being the planner I am, I want to make sure that if this will be in effect, that I'm on top of it. Thanks! :wave:

This is good info to know, since I am going in two weeks. I am one of those that gets a fast pass and will come back around whenever I get to it. I have my routes at each park, so now I'll have to change it up a little.

Does anyone know if there are any new rules about large groups using fast pass? We always go in July and with there being so many large international tour groups the fast pass line becomes almost as long as the regular line at times.

No new rules for groups.

I don't see how they would enforce one even if they did have one.

Right now the system is testing by them just randomly selecting participants that are about to get on magical express. Once that test run is over there is no saying when they will test again or go to full operation.
