Looks like there is still work to be done outside the "roof" missing. Lights have not been put back up, for example.

I think the tent on top is not there on purpose...I think they are trying to take away the medieval fair look from FL as a whole.

Agreed.
Maybe they will put something else on there like maybe extend on the castle type of stuff on the back. Maybe have a roof with the castle type of architecture. Or something I don't know, just not the tents again.

Agree I think they are trying to do away with the tents to some extent, hopefully, and I hope they dont come back to pan, I like the new pic compared to the before.

I second/third that thought process. Besides getting rid of the ugly purple, leaving the tent top off is a big improvement. hopefully it stays that way.

All this time I wondered what bothered me so much there, and its been that garish purple!!! Good riddence, welcome back peterpan. :wave:
Now if only we could get it some love inside. I hope small world gets a a new facade too in its refurbishment. Its gawdy right now. Yellow and purple I think it is? Ick.

Yeah, the blue is definitely much better than that faded purple. I also like how they put the detail back into the clouds and accented each individual contour of them.
Small World just got an exterior refurb a year ago so I don't know if they'll go back to it soon, but yes, it is purple/pink/yellow right now (and rather garish when compared to the more subdued PPF facade).

Well isn't small world supposed to go down for a 3 month rehab in August? Maybe something will be done then?

That's a valid question. People know that it's Peter Pan not just from the sign over the queue entrance:
But you can also tell because it has the second longest line in Fantasyland, behind the Matterhorn Bobsleds. And, it's been in the same spot for 55 years! :lol:

According to the leaked blueprints and the FLE model, Pooh and Friends will have a Meet & Greet area across from the attraction in a similar place to where they were before the playground closed.

Well, as someone already mentioned... IASW just got a facade facelift! And I thought I heard (on here) that the refurb was to do something with the queue!?!

You know, even if they changed the whole facade to resemble something like DLs... the average guest wouldn't notice! We're the only ones that notice these things!

I'm kind of surprised that they aren't going to use that little sliver of space (behind where Pooh's FP distribtuion is/was) for the M&G or additional queue. I remember seeing in the imagineering field guide that WDI had proposed a M&G for the space but obviously that never happened.
