Fantasyland passholders preview registration

Wow you logged in that early? I would think your log in would time out after awhile...

Well it sounds like Disney severely "runined" many peoples day by this delay lol. I can image many had elaberate plans in place to register at noon lol.

I wonder if the D23 members were able to reserve today?

Oh, I was just prepping my computer for the "mad dash" to register...I logged in once to make sure everything was running smoothly, with plans to log right back out, and that's when I saw the "delay" message.

I just tried to register using my D23 membership INSTEAD of my AP, and the D23 site is not showing a link to get tickets. Not sure if the "technical difficulties" trickled down to this site as well :(

Yeah, I am wondering the same thing, keep hitting refresh and nothing. I would hope they would at least put an announcement there if this was going to be down as well.

And the worst part is that I got a D23 membership because my AP vouchers weren't arriving till wed so I thought I would try and go this route.

So now that the AP sign up has been pushed back a week, I am a little worried that the D23 members will take all the spots available on November 3rd. I checked their website and their registration is still for today. I am down in Disney November 2nd - November 6th so the only day I can do the preview is November 3rd. I really hope they set aside some spots for the AP holders and that all spots are not up for grabs by the D23 members :(

Interesting, the D23 website says tickets avaliable now but there's no link to register. Wonder if this means the tickets are delayed or if they're already sold out?

I think it is more likely they are delayed and didn't make an announcement, I was on at 12:45 and there was no link ever posted.

Oh man...I just bought our D23 memberships (and everyone else in our travel party as well) at 9:45 a.m. EST; I followed your link above and when I tried to register, I got "Sorry, it could take 24-48 hours for new memberships to be registered in our systems."
I wish I would've known sooner that D23 members were getting a FLE preview as well...guess I need to check the message boards more often.

I wanted to go this route because not everyone in my travel party are AP holders, just my little family. Ah well, guess they can enjoy the park while we're viewing the FLE (the trade-off: we're paying for EVERYONE's vacation).

So I think the D23 members were able to sign up. Do you think that they set aside tickets for the AP holders or are the AP who wanted to go Nov 3rd out of luck?

I am wondering the same exact thing. I'm not sure how many guests they limit per time slot, but 2 of the 8 are gone & 2 more are "waitlisted."

I really, really hope I can register using my AP.

AP tickets are different from D23 tickets. I'm sure they AP tickets were set aside. There is a new registration system they are trying to use and it is down. CMs only got to sign up for a few hours before the website was taken down due to technical difficulties. So glad I came on here today because now that I'm a CM I don't typically use my d23 membership to get into things. However I did get a November 4th 8 am experience with Ariel for New Fantasyland.

I got a D23 Confirmation for Nov 4, 5 to 8:30 pm for Enchanted Tales with Belle. I wanted to see the area lit up in the evening. Coming from Arizona and will be there Oct 31 - Nov 12, so it will be the only opportunity my wife and I have to see it.

and the kicker..."Registration is now closed."

I wonder if I can get a refund?

I know that several years ago, many people joined in order to purchase tickets for the Magic & Merriment event. The tickets sold out in like 30 seconds! D23 did give refunds to people who were not able to get tickets. It's worth a try!

You paid 70 bucks just to get into a free preview? I mean I like the perks of D23 but getting into stuff was never the reason I bought it. You can try and get a refund but they don't have to give you one because the fine print does say limited scalability first come first serve on these kinds of events. Also when you buy it they let you know it takes 24 to 48 hours for it to activate.

Yup...I feel a bit foolish, like one of those parents who searches high and low for that years' hottest toy at the last minute to put under the Christmas tree. I was in such a hurry that I didn't notice the "fine print" of activation; all I saw was basically, "you'll receive your member number after purchase, your membership card in 7-10 business days, and the rest of your package in 2-3 weeks."

Ah well, lesson learned and now I'm a D23 member, something my husband and I have been contemplating for awhile anyways. Maybe this will be an incentive to try out the D23 expo and FINALLY visit Disneyland!

So wait D23 members were able to register after all today? and for the same dates as the AP preview? And CMs "snuck in" and were able to register for the AP preview today? So what the heck is left for APs to register for next week?

No CMs were able to sneak in and register. I am a D23 member and registered under my right as a member there.

D23 is on a different schedule than AP so don't get upset. The AP passes will go out on the 15th as planned. D23 just has a different website and event registration system so theirs is not down. All 3 different types of registration have their own allotted amount.

CMs registered last week for the last two weeks in October and that is when the system error in the registration system was found because CMs and APs will be using the same system from now on and this is the first roll out for it. Disney pulled the website and tried to get it back up by today but it didn't happen so they pushed APs a week and CM has been pushed for at least a few days.

Don't worry guys if you are an AP there will be preview times for you guys.
