Fantasyland Nomenclature

I just learned the names of some of the new features of the Fantasyland Expansion. They are the following:

Phase 1A:
Be Our Guest Restaurant
Enchanted Tales with belle
Gaston's Tavern
Bonjour! Village Gifts
Maurice's Popping Corn

Phase 1B:
Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid
Ariel's Grotto

Phase 2:
South Tent: Sideshow Souvenirs
North Tent: Storybook Circus Meet and Greet
Confetti Plaza
Casey Jr. Water Play

Absolutely Goofy. But who else? I can totally see the Fab 5 there in their Circus attire but reports say that won't happen.

And I don't know how well a Dumbo character would really work. The old one was pretty sad looking.

An entire tent just seems like too large a space for just Goofy. I'm thinking it'll be more than just one character.

Agreed. It would have to be. There are room for 3 with the current set up. Assuming the gift shop will stay the say, one being the confetti room (no idea what that will be) and the other staying the Meet and greet. But it baffles me as to who they could be.

Bug's Life characters could be cool. There is a circus in that.

Timothy Mouse, perhaps? My other guess would be the Great Goofini.

One possibility that I could see is an interactive Dumbo puppet like Donkey from Shrek at Universal. He wouldn't talk, of course, but with the right design it might work.

I think we're overthinking this! The fact it's called "Storybook..." might indicate that they could put whoever the heck they want back there! I'm thinking random characters that don't have a place elsewhere in the park. It sounds like the Big Cheese is getting a home at the front of the park and eventually the Princesses will be moving into their new location.

I don't know... I'm just throwing out random thoughts! :shrug:

Do we know what phase Princess Hall (not sure of the name?) is in?

Bug's Life characters could be cool. There is a circus in that.

Good idea! The only problem i could see with that is those would be relatively difficult costumes to make look real with a person in them. From what ive seen at AK and the playground in HS, it could look awkward...

I see Pinocchio quite a bit in Town Square, Peter Pan is with Wendy by Pirates or Philharmagic, and Alice we always see at the Tea Cups.

Anyone heard if they will put the fairies back anywhere? I'm hearing they aren't making the Pixie Hollow Tree now.

Cool names! I wish Storybook circus wouldn't happen! If I was designing this I would add Alice in Wonderland! Like a maze! Or a Villain thingy! The villains don't get enough love lol But still I am excited!

I believe Stroybook Circus exists because, originally it was just going to be Dumbos and the Goofini ride.

Since Pixie Hollow is not happening, the budget for it is going to go to the Dwarfs ride, they are keeping the old tents from Toontown. I would have never given Dumbo that much space, but you know...

I totally agree. This could have been an entire new land concept instead. And um the titles below, seriously? This is sounding worse and worse to me. Imagineering is loosing its imagination I think.

One of the ideas that was thrown around was a similar type of meet and greet with Maximus from Tangled.

What is the Confetti Plaza?

Also, why isn't The Great Goofini on that list?

Wouldn't it be great if a Dumbo figure was created for the M&G, like Lucky the Dinosaur? :sohappy:
