Scuttle--try to get some aerials of the skyway demolition area, as well.

Please? Just curious about that whole thing. If it's tough to do, no worries, just a thought.

Thanks for providing us here with great pics!

I'll try, but most of my focus will be on the Fantasyland Expansion and I'm going to be in a new plane that I'm not familiar with, but I'll do my best.

 Wow. It never really occurred to me how incredibly spacious the land would be... truly "immersive" if you will. The sheer scale of this really is impressive, and far exceeds what I'd expected.

Thanks so much for posting!! I'm so excited to see this all coming together! I love the look of it (the cobblestone bridges and cottages and abundant landscaping). It is just going to be so special for my children to have this area of the park. I really feel like they've taken Fantasyland and truly made it a Fanstasy world. It was special before, but it didn't have the feel that this will have. Frontierland feels like an Old Western town, Main Street USA feels like you are walking in a small town. Fantasyland never really felt like I was immersed in the story. But, with this, I think it will now.

I would agree that Fantasyland never previously felt quite as immersive as the other lands. But by the looks of these photos, it looks like Fantasyland is now certainly joining, and perhaps even surpassing, the other lands in terms of feeling like a complete and separate world. If anything, I'm now curious how much some of the other lands might benefit from an expansion of a similar scale - imagine a Tomorrowland with a sci-fi city three times the current size, or Adventureland with a jungle as huge as the forest pictured above (or would that just be like AK?)

Hopefully with the next set of aerial pics the area around the Haunted Mansion will be included. It is tough to judge perspective. Amazing how small the Mansion "house" looks from that angle and amazing to me that the show building is not more visible. I am very optimistic for the look of this this new area. :)

Impressive indeed that the Mansion still holds up as well as it does from a view from which it was likely never intended to be seen. More impressive still if the Imagineers planned it this way when designing the FLE.

I know it has been mentioned here that some of the plans being implemented go back decades. I have speculated that 20K was built as a last minute addition because TWDC was in a bit of a panic that the entire WDW project might fail and they needed something exceedingly compelling to offer to draw crowds even if it did not fit the rest of FL very well.

I really do believe the FLE is very similar to what would have been built originally if they had been more certain of success and had invested more capital. The MK is nearing completion, it just took over 40 years. Although I still think Frontierland, Tomorrowland and Adventureland will need new additions for that to be completely true. Perhaps by the 50th anniversary.

You raise an interesting question. Was the HM meant to be seen from Fantasyland? (the facade of course, not the show building). I guess we may know soon. It sort of appears that way from the picture.

Flight cancelled again! Low clouds and wind gusting to 21 knots. Not exactly good flying weather, especially for photos. Will try again Monday.
