They still do a fireworks display over at Paradise Bay which is known as a "Fountain and Fireworks" countdown since 2010. Uses both fireworks and the entire WoC fountains grid and other special effects. The soundtrack is usually based off show they do there for Grad Nite.

Here at Disneyland and it’s kind of windy but so far not strong as it was last year. If this keeps up into the night, Mix Magic might run without fireworks and Fantasmic might see a cancellation

>>Blustery Santa Ana winds that pummeled inland Orange County are expected to subside in time for the New Year’s Eve fireworks shows planned at Disneyland as revelers prepare to bid farewell to 2019 and ring in the new decade.

High winds forced Disneyland to cancel the nightly fireworks show on Monday, Dec. 30, but the weather is expected to cooperate on New Year’s Eve when twin nighttime spectaculars are planned at the Anaheim theme park for midnight on the East Coast and West Coast.

All Disneyland fireworks shows are dependent on weather conditions and are subject to last-minute changes or cancellations, according to Disney officials.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory until 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 31 for the Santa Ana Mountains and inland Orange County. Northeast winds were expected to gust as high as 70 mph, the weather service warned.<<

Wind died down for the fireworks although Small World and the DLRR still had to close for the fireworks. Mickeys Mix Magic has no content change within the show itself though it has a lot more fireworks than usual due to it being NYE. After the countdown and Auld Lang Syne the show starts right away

DCA seemed to have a decent amount of fireworks. More than I expected. I didn't see all of DL's show but I heard the intense explosions of the ending and it was extremely disturbing.

Wow! Such a new show! I really love the new segments they added!

 Hate to say I told ya so, but... welcome to the Disneyland of 2020, where the Dis stands for disappointment.

OK, Compare THAT to MK's FITS, EF from last night or Believe tonight.........
IDK, Looks like FITS STILL WORKS for MK! Even without the projections! Magic Happens BETTER NOT BE like Mix Magic!!!! Of course we have to wait till Feb. 28th for that with MSEP and PTN STILL siting backstage, not being used by DLR or any other resort! Rollseyes!

I was at NYE at DL and I liked the mix magic offering. I get that they wanted a more dance vibe. The horrible part was the DJ's. Would have preferred live bands. The fact that they didn't even have one in Fantasy Faire is beyond me.

Last night, was in the Resort Area Cambria, AGW and Mimi's Café. Heading to home, using Harbor to Ball. On Ball right at the Banana Building, the first, solo firework went off. Shocked both Lisa and I, I glanced at the clock, right at 9:30... But wasn't expecting it, and it was loud....
