I understand Chapek wanted to bring his friends to DHS to enjoy SWGE but was then reminded that no one likes him. So, the reservations went back into the bucket for us poors.

How much Longer till Fantasmic re-opens at Hollywood Studios?
No one knows. CMs were called into rehearsal months and months ago and still no Fantasmic.
There are obviously delays they didn't plan for.
So, if WDW doesn't know, no one else does.

Not to mention it says Disney's big focus at DHS right now is the show's return. So we could be close to some major news.

Despite not being a holiday show, the return of Fantasmic! is the priority for the later half of 2022.

What Disney plans to do and what it actually does aren't necessarily the same thing.
Again, CM rehearsals happened months ago with the assumption it would already be open now... and it isn't.
The unforeseen delays could possibly still be unforeseen and further delay things.
Or, it could be up and running in two months.
It's clear WDW wants F! to be open sooner than later. So, I trust anyone saying that's the plan. What I'm waiting for is someone with the inside info to explain what delayed it and that those obstacles are gone.
