Fantasmic Package:

Anyone know the answer to the above?

You know the last time we went in August was in 2000. We got into fantasmic then without the dinner package while the show was starting with standing room only- I don't know what we were doing getting there so late, I really can't remember.

Generally we go in the January/February time period and you can get a seat probably 30-45 minutes before the show.

I would imagine that if you get there an hour before you could still get a decent seat without doing the fantasmic package.

We never do the package because we always eat at the 50s and it's not usually on the package at the time we go & we like to get the center row.

Thanks, I think we'll probably skip the dinner package and just get there half an hour early. It will be nice to relax a little bit after a long day!

We did the Brown Derby Fatasmic Dinner Package in April this year and as we were not on the dining plan we felt for what we ate, it was good value (for Disney). However, we were seated at the far right of the theatre (arriving 30 mins before show) and I was a little disappointed with the view (got to see some people/things moving around though which you wouldn't have seen normally). The first timers in our group loved it though!

I agree. The view with the package is not worth it, in my opinion. Maybe at the busiest times of year when you really don't want to wait.
