Didn’t have the time. I appreciate your courteous response. :)
The bunnies and eggs symbology *way* predates medieval times. Even it's mostly modern form was paganism that the church largely coopted because the heathens wouldn't knock it off. Fertility was kinda an important thing for early man.
Not the “the Church adopted pagan holidays” trope. Ayayayay

Yea, on Friday at the 2:30 parade, the Whale float broke down as soon as it came out then the audio from the float also cut out abruptly. Once the tow pulled it down the parade route, the float's speakers weren't working for the entire trip.
How was Pinocchio and Donald doing during this?

There are numerous examples of cultures decorating eggs that predate Christianity. That doesn't mean Christianity co-opted them, but the idea didn't originate with Easter and Christianity.

As for the broader point surrounding Christian co-option of pagan traditions -- you're right in that there are people who want to claim essentially every Christian celebration etc. was the church taking a pagan celebration and slapping a new name on it, and that's simply not true.

With that said, historically speaking there are certainly some pagan traditions that influenced Christian celebrations. However, it was never really something like the church saying "let's take this and make it ours". It was local customs merging with the new religion in various ways. That's nothing unique to Christianity, though, that's simply how cultures develop over time.

The bunnies and eggs are symbols of the Virgin Mary and rebirth. Very Christian and date back to Medieval times.
The hare in all of its motifs predates Christianity and used throughout the history of Christianity. Associating it with Easter customs was after the medieval period in the 17th century.

Likewise the egg and its motifs predate Christianity and is incorporated into Christian themes from the first century with the cracked open egg representing the Empty Tomb. Staining the eggs, especially with red, is from way before the medieval period.

The hare was associated with Mary and the Virgin Birth because of the myth that hares can reproduce asexually. The egg was all about the Resurrection.

When they decide to announce the dates for F!, any chance the announcement comes with a surprise or two? Like a SWAGS return or replacement?

The biggest DHS Surprise TDO could pull is a return to the Standard of DHS Pyro before SWAGS. It's too bad DHS didn't find a way around that.

PTN would be a Shock as well!!!! LOL!!!!!!!

That's a little confusing considering those concerns apparently don't exist anywhere on property.
You could say FOF has COVID Rules right now....

Also...just asking here.....is there an omicron 2.0 in the US? I haven't heard anything on the News(I know why and I understand it but still)

It is and it is rising to overtake BA.1 but cases continue to fall. IHME (which tend to be overzealous) projects no COVID case surge in the United States at all despite BA.2 taking over BA.1.

BA.2 represents 20-30% of cases in the United States right now, but again, cases continue to fall.

Time will tell.

Edit: Apparently IHME is not up to date. But again, time will tell. So far so good. We've had far more infection in the United States than everywhere else. We paid the price for that but it may save us now.

The concerns exist but Disney will not quickly remove something they already brought back or announced. F! has no date yet.

Did we notice they finished the refurb, filled the lagoon, and then…chilled?
But they did announce and bring back the castle stage show despite BA.2 looming.
