Fantasmic dispute

hi all,

maybe you can help me out with something. there's a disagreement goin on with me and my mom about Fantasmic.

My mom believes... that when Fantasmic started at WDW, there were 4 floats during the Princess medley (BatB, Little Mermaid, SW, and Sleeping Beauty) she says that there were originally 4 floats and that during it's run at the Studios, the script got changed, the music got changed, and Sleeping Beauty got axed.

I believe... that there have always been 3 floats at the WDW Fantasmic (BatB, Little Mermaid, SW) the sleeping beauty float is in the disneyland version and was never included in the Studios version.

Please help us settle this... thanks!

3 Floats

I believe there has always been 3 floats at both WDW & DL.

From what I remember, there have only been three, and the only part from Sleeping Beauty in the show is Malificent. Sleeping Beauty herself was never in it to the best of my knowledge.

The Snow White float is currently being refurbished, so only 2 floats are currently active.

You're correct - there have only ever been those three.

To re-emphasize, there are only three Princess barges: Belle, Snow White, and Ariel.

In DL's version, though, Aurora has been seen in the finale, as well as Jasmine and Cinderella.

One thing is certain - the music has never changed, so this points to the fact there have never been more than 3.

There have always been 3. Maleficent as the dragon is the only part from Sleeping Beauty that is in MGM's Fantasmic.
