Fantasmic! Dinner Package

We will be going back to the World in May this year. We are taking my DW's parents with us. They are not great fans of standing in lines, so when we go to MGM I am thinking of booking the Fantasmic! Dinner Package thing at the Brown Derby.

Can someone let me know how it works?

Do I have to book a meal for a certain time? Do we get a ticket or something? I know nothing about it.

Your info would be greatly appreciated.

When does a second fantasmic show gererally occur? Is it only on certain nights or certain seasons? What time does it go on?

Going to the calendar in Disney online will give you Fantasmic showtimes quite a ways in advance. The seats are in the far right section...not as good as the middle, but if there's a large crowd it's nice not to be in it!

Does anyone know what the lines for Fantasmic are like in September when the parks are less crowded? Thanks.
