Do you have the balcony seating, or the preferred seating on the walkway? I'm not sure if there's a difference. I think the balcony is also a buffet.

On the walkway, they had chocolate strawberries (very good), cookies, and other pastries. You could get up and help yourself throughout, but I think they intially invited you up by section or row for crowd control. The beverages were non-alcoholic. I believe we had diet cokes in a can. Not sure what the other options are.

I was wondering too. We are leaving in a little more than a month and we are gonna do the Fantasmic Buffet the night of my 21st birthday. And I know there are two different ones you can do. One fills up faster and has a better few and the other one doesnt fill up as fast but the view isnt as good. Which is which and where?

And any tips for calling when we hit the 30 day mark??? My mom said DL phone lines open at 8am PST/11am EST. Is this true? Any other info would be great! Thanks!

Thank you so much for this information. We'll be on the walkway next month, and it's great to know some of the food we can expect. Looks delicious.

The balcony buffet ROCKS!!!!! :sohappy:

It's still one of the best times we've ever had at any Disney Park!

The food is served buffet style and includes a delicious assortment of cakes, tarts, cookies, fruit, pastries, and lots more! :slurp:

Drinks are served by Cast Members and included coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and a few cold selections (but no alcohol!).

Our serving team was great and kept our cups and plates filled thorughout the night!

As an added bonus, we were allowed avoid the crowds and stay up on the balconly after Fantasmic to watch the "Remember" fireworks.

The view is unmatched and the food and drink only served to make it an unforgettable experience! Be sure to take lots of pictures of this special event!

ENJOY!!!!!

I've seen "Remember" from the Hub before and I have seen Fantasmic from the balcony but I have never stayed to see "Remember" from the Balcony. Is it a good view? Seems like not having a view of the castle might ruin "Remember". I assume you can hear the audio on the balcony right?

You can hear the audio without any problem. I'm not sure what the balcony view is like, but it was really interesting from the reserved seating on the walkway. You could see Tink and most of the shells, but very little of the castle. It was amazing to see how far apart the shells are shot from - basically the full length of the park. I wouldn't consider it a subsitute for seeing it from Main Street, but a different perspective.

We had reserved premium seating for the 10:30 Fantasmic. When we checked in early, they let us into the roped off area to see the fireworks, but we couldn't sit, obvioiusly, because the first seating was still there.

Because the hub is so small at DL, they encourage Fantasmic guests to stay where they are ionstead of creating a traffic jam running over to try to get to the hub, where it has been filled to capacity for hours already. Because of this, they pipe the music over the Fantasmic speakers.

the view from the Balcony is not great, but not having to fight the crowds made it all worth while. If I was not going to have an opportunity to see "REMEMBER" the next night from the hub, I may have tried to get over there. As it was, we were all comfortable and still eating and drinking our dessert and coffee with no rush to get up and leave. This was a great thing for my folks, who are not the "running to an attraction" type of people!

About the only thing you miss from the Fantasmic area that you get form the huib is the castle and Matterhorn projections, which are really great, and some of the lasers shots off the castle. You can see all the fireworks though, as I filmed them from there, and the angle is really unique!

HAVE FUN!!!

But wouldn't it just be perfect if they could top off that dessert buffet w/ a glass of champagne or somethin'. ;) But alas! Club 33 has the ONLY alcohol in Disneyland Park.

Dessert Buffet

Hey i had a question about the dessert buffet, is there any difference in the balcony seating and the walkway? Also is it worth the money and what kind of food do they serve and do you serve yourself or do they serve you?
