Lots of things not working it seems:

Only 1 fountain array
Mickey no spark fingers
Magic Carpet stationary
Murphy no fire

Some changes:

- No projection screen behind/above house
- No longer see Murphy rise up, done in the dark like the old version
- Star strobes used at top of show as lights fade and swirls build
1 Thing I noticed is the Water Screen was up until the Mark Twain was fully reveled. I liked it! IDK if Murphy was slow to go down or if this is a permanent change..

Of course last night could have been an off night but the lack of Fountains on either side concerns me! DL had ample time to get F! ready for this week!

definitely hoping some of the issues were just tech bugs for the first show back…. And will be sorted by Saturday.

Mickey has new choreography in the beginning. He faces the cabin/spotlights – pretty sure that's new

Also Genie is an addition (character) next to Aladdin and Jasmine. Usually it's just them two and no one's next to them on the left.

Yes forgot to mention the new choreo!

No
I just passed by the area. Vloggers are set up on the bridge, and some people are camped up on the second level, but they haven’t started roping off the dining package sections yet for crowd flow.

Saw a livestream, and lots of tech issues in the first show tonight:
The left and right side fountains were on tonight, but they are really out of sync/misaligned and missing certain cues. This screenshot is telling, especially the one in the background (right fountain set)

Murphy wasn't breathing fire
Some pyro mishaps/misfires

Also, not trying to be too nit picky, but the steamboat choreography was very off tonight.

However, the crowd was very energized for F!'s return. Hope these tech issues get worked out, eventually.

The moving fountains are the same as what's used in WoC, right? (Since the 2017 refurb?) They are having a lot of issues with those, both here and in DCA. The right side especially is missing multiple fountains with multiple not moving/misaligned. (Jump to the finale at 24:22 to get a good view)

The show otherwise looks good though, even though I'm not a fan of some of the 2017 changes.

Was there last night for the first showing and did the Hungry Bear package. Heres what to expect from the package:

1.) Previously AP Discounts applied before the shutdown. Magic Key Holder discounts don't apply this time.

2.) Entrance to the viewing area for the package still at Harbor Galley but Riverbelle standard package viewing area entrance moved to the other side of the river by the Mark Twain/Columbia dock by the petrified tree. Riverbelle Terrace viewing area temporarily has absorbed Blue bayous viewing area until that restaurant reopens with their package offered.

3.) Website says both Hungry Bear and Riverbelles sections would be standing but its still ground seating as it has been.

Disneyland Forever was cancelled however Mix Magic did not play at the Rivers of America.

Did Mix Magic play elsewhere?

Even though it sounds like last night was rough, at least the Tech is slow to get going and not cut!!!!!!!

Mix Magic did play in other fireworks viewing areas in the park but that show also got cut midway for some reason.

Apparently, we got new voice of Disneyland for Fantasmic pre-show announcement, as well as other pre-show announcements. It doesn't look like Bill Rogers for me (see 8:15 for the evidence), but it more like a similar VA announcer from WDW 50th and its show such as Enchantment.

I wonder if Bill Rogers has been replaced? Or maybe reusing an actor for Floridas fantasmic.

Also found supposedly new voice at Star Wars Celebrate the Nite and MSEP/Forever pre-show announcement. Doesn't sound like Bill, is very different from usual.

Disneyland Forever making the first appearance using water projection and fountains on the Rivers of America this evening. Doesn't have much different than 2019 version, except for more technological advancements.

The ROA pyro for Forever is still cut from the 60th, but still looks great from there with the fountains!
