Fantasmic and Dinner-Can we make it?

Have a 5:05 ADR at spoodles, and need to get to Fantasmic starting at 7. I say we can make it just fine. Might not have the best seats, or seats at all for that matter, but we can stand. Anyone see a problem with this?

Do you have a car? That would help. Also, ask for the check before you're finished, so you don't have to wait on it. Also remember you may not get seated right away, even if you show up early.

We usually take 1.5 hours for a TS dinner, and then rely on the buses, so we wouldn't be able to get there by 7 if it were us.

forget the car, but be prepared to walk briskly from spoodles to the studios-it's faster than the boats or driving to the studios & re-parking. 12-15 minutes if you've got a good pace. Let your server know what you're trying to do , and that you don't intend to dawdle. They can probably get you fed 'n fled within an hour, giving you almost an hour to walk less than a mile.

As long as you get seated at around 5pm you should have no problem whatsoever. You've correctly pointed out the seating issues at Fantasmic - but if you're prepared to sit anywhere then you'll still have a blast

Here's a few thoughts: First, do arrive early for your ressie, so that you hopefully will get seated before or at the time of the ressie. Second, go on line and print out the menu and review it the night before. Finally, while waiting to be seated grab a menu to look at to decide what you're going to eat when you sit down, this way you can give the waiter/waitress the full order all at once which will speed things up.

I could be wrong, but I think Spoodles starts serving dinner @ 5, so reservations for 5:05 is about as early as you can get, though the extra 5 minutes may indeed make a difference. :)
