Fantasmic is scheduled nightly through atleast September 30th. Now I haven't really seen it posted on any schedules or anywhere but if this is true this would be great news! Especially with the recent ticket price raise, atleast it seems that they might be willing to offer a parks nightime entertainment every night and keep the park open later than 7 pm on a Friday night...just saying. If anyone recieves anymore confirmation for this it would be great!!!

According to the Hub, Fantasmic is playing almost every night in June and July, goes back to 3-4 nights a week in August and then almost every night in September.

It's currently scheduled every night during your trip at 9:00pm.

The timimg of this seems rather suspect. Ticket prices go up, add more Fantasmic showings to counter the bad press. Still it's a great decision.

The day after ticket prices were added and after not doing so for how long?

You seriously think adding more performances of a show that is over 10 years old is going to somehow "counter" any bad press Disney may be getting?

They've been extending park hours since May. They are obviously anticipating high crowds in the coming months.

I think it could be an attempt , sure. Do you think they don't look at timing of announcements? Besides, attention spans are so short, you don't really need to counter bad press just change the topic of conversation.

Has Disney even publicly announced this? All the info is from Twitter and CM's looking at the Hub, it doesn't seem like Disney is making some big to do over this. People who don't frequent fansites likely have no clue anything has changed.

Disney has a PR department and that department could very well have asked that they not announce the improved Fantasmic schedule right away so that they could have something else to talk about in the days following the ticket price increase. I'm not questioning the motives for the schedule change, I just found the timing to be interesting.

Disney just like all companies care about what is mentioned after their name on twitter and boards like this because it can skew a person's search results. Just because it may not work doesn't mean their PR people didn't think in like ways. They would be remiss if they didn't.

Not sure it is an improvement. So far there is only 1 performance on the nights that it is performed. In previous years there have been two performances per night, albeit on less nights. It could turn out that we have the same number of performances spread over more days.

Hmmm I don't understand...added performances every night in July and September but not August? It still has the limited schedule and only shows one show on those nights which I wouldn't think would work out. So why add performances every night in September which is considered off seasonish and not every night in August which is still summer?
