Enjoy!
(FYI- If I say 'we' it means my mom and I on both Thursdays, and 'we' means my my mom, my sister-in-law, my brother, and I on Friday.)
Thursday, August 18, 2005:
Our driver picked us up at 6 AM and we drove to EWR. Thank goodness for on-line check in, because the ticket counter lines were crazy. Curbside baggage is very helpful too! We boarded the plane at about 8:45 AM EST, and arrived at 11:41 AM PST.
After picking up checked bags, we got on the Super Shuttle and they drove us to the Desert Inn. The room wasn't ready yet, so we went next door to Denny's for lunch. (It was the most disgusting Denny's I ever ate in.)
We went back to the hotel, checked-in, and crossed the street to DCA. Our very first stop there was the ticket booth to redeem our S. Californian City Passes for actual DLR tickets.
From there, we went into the park, and our first stop was to pick up a Soarin' FP.

After picking up the FP, we went to Golden Dreams, a wonderful movie about the different immigrants that have come to California over the years.
Next up was two rides on Orange Stinger. The Sun Wheel was after that.
Soarin' is my new favorite ride! You can probably guess that it was next.
One of my favorites was next, MuppetVision 3D! Next to the Muppets, construction is well underway for the new Monsters Inc. ride, replacing Superstar Limo.

Block Party Bash was viewed by walking past- really not all that it is cracked up to be.
The 6:00 PM show of Aladdin was wonderful.
Next up was "Turtle Talk with Crush"- hadn't seen it in TLS, and don't think we'll bother next time we're in WDW.
Does anyone else notice the typo on this sign?

We had dinner at Pizza Oom Mow Mow, and watched "Disney's Electrical Parade" from there.
After dinner and the parade, we went on Mullholland Madness. Even Primeval Whirl is better than this one.
Our final two rides were both at Soarin'. Gotta love section B2!
Did some shopping in "Greetings from California!" and went back to the hotel.
