I remembered seeing Buzz Aldrin, Jim Lovell and Wally Schirra all at the Mission Space inaugurational opening ceremony with Mike Eisner next to them. It was pretty heavy.
Oh! And why is it that every time Disney does some sort of event, Drew Carey's always around. Not only did i see him, but I was *THIS* close to riding the Khali River Rapids with him! (off by a couple of boats...
).
Oh, and this is more of a Spanish thing, but there's this singer/telenovela actor who's an icon in Venezuela. Jose Louis Rodriguez, "El Puma." When I was 12 or so I was with my cousin at the park one day when she spotted him walking by with two girls and she shouted out at him and he winked back.

I have seen a few celebs at the Disney Christmas events as narrators for the Christmas story and a few just as guests.
My friends are amazed at the strange way i end up meeting so many celebs so I have quite a list at Disney and othewise but I swear I'm not a crazed fan or stalker or anything, promise!! :lookaroun
Anyway the one's I remember from Disney are:

[*]Drew Carey (yes he IS everywhere)

[*]Brett Favre (sp?) (I actually had NO idea who he was because I don't watch sports but I was chatting with him and said that his ring looked awfully heavy and he let me put it on...apparently it's a pretty important ring if you watch whatever sport it is he plays)
[*]David Hyde Pierce (LOVED him...we have the same breed of dog so we showed our puppy photos to each other)
I bet if i think there are more but hey...that's plenty of sightings for now!!!

oooohhhhhh I saw Eric Mangini this past trip... it was the day after the Pats beat the Jaguars in their first round of the playoffs... but I didn't really realize it was him until I walked by him and some guy saw me wearing a Red Sox shirt and said "wait... you're not gonna give Mangini crap..."
I almost ran back to say something... but he was with his kids so I didn't wanna be blatantly obnoxious... if I saw him again though... man he had it coming... (never did)

The only celeb I've ever seen was Roy Disney. I was super excited.

You're lucky. Two years ago we were at AK for the day and that night we were watching the news and Roy had been their that do too. I was so bumming that I didn't get to at least see him.
Our only celebrity was last year my son and I met Neil Patrick Harris as he got off the ToT. Got his picture with my son, he was real nice about it.

I saw movie actor Burt Lancaster at the Grand Floridian in the concierge lounge 18 years ago. He was reading the newspaper and having a bagel at one of the tables. He was wearing a large hat and sunglasses. He kept to himself and when other guests in the lounge began noticing him, (they couldn't help, he was the only one in the room wearing sunglasses) he ducked out fast up the elevator and back to his room, quite the recluse. He was making a movie at MGM (his last) with Sidney Poitier.

Believe it or not Joan Rivers last June. She was at Epcot. No idea why. She was very pleasant to everyone that approached her.

AAAHHH!!! Might it have been BRETT FAVRE'S SUPER BOWL RING?!? Ah, crum. That item you had on your finger may very well be in the Smithsonian museum someday. If I ever meet you, I'm going to make sure you let me touch whatever finger that ring was on.

Joey Fatone (several times), Ace Young, John Cleese, Phylicia Rashad, Harry Hamlin, Isabella Rossellini, Drew Lachey, Drew Carey, Wayne Brady, Jessica Simpson, Daniel Powter, Neil Patrick Harris, Regis & Kelly - oh and Bob Iger, Jay Rasulo, Al Weiss & Marty Skylar.
None of these sightings were at CP. I also saw several sports celebs, but since they had to be pointed out to me, I'm not including them.

Saw Steven Tyler at DHS back in MArch of 2005 with his kids getting on, get this, Aerosmith's RnRC.
Man, I wish Disney built me my own ride that I could take my kids on. That would be pretty sweet! :ROFLOL:
