Family of Six, best value?

OK, We want to go the WDW and not break the rules this time. We have 2 adults, and 4 kids, all over 3 y/o. Without going bankrupt, whats the best option for us to stay on the property. We are going in Mid to Late August. We think our only possibilty is the All Star Music Famiy Suite. Any one have any better or cheaper ideas? Thanks in advance. anyone know passholder possiblities that far out, I there are any?

Fort Wilderness costs a little more than two rooms at a value resort but if you take advantage of the kitchen and the Grill, you can easily save the difference in food costs.

If you are thinking about late August you need to watch for free dining to be offered again. They should announce it in late March early April if they're going to offer it again.

If they do, you won't save money on the rooms, but free food will definitely offset your cost.:)

i booked our rooms at the all star movies resort and there originally were 7 of us, 2 adults and the rest kids. i was told we have guaranteed adjoining rooms, because of this being a family with kids.

when i called back to add 3 more to our ressies, we were given another room, but no guarantee of where it will be. (there is another adult in that room).

so i think it makes a difference if a family with 2 adults and lots of kids are going together as to whether or not they guarantee adjoining rooms.

Just looked again, and the Family suite rate is only $184/night...We have a winner. The AAA room rate is only $65s/$75p / night too. Those are such great rates.
