Stay away from the Royal Parc Suites. An absolute nightmare for us. We checked in....took a 5 minute look around our "premium" suite and then checked out. We found roaches in the drawers.
You may want to check out The Fountains. A very nice and affordable place on International Drive. Only a 10 minute drive to the parks. The only thing is no free breakfast but all the suites have a full kitchen. There is a Publix right down the street where you can stock up on breakfast items.

Have you thought about two rooms at a value resort? We did this when there were six of us and it worked out perfect. It's also a little cheaper than the suites, I believe.

I'm staying at Royal Parc right now. Haven't had any real problems except Housekeeping is very inconsistent in the supplies they leave in your room each day. For example, some days you get one bar of soap, some days you get no face cloths, some days you get no hand towels. Minor problems fixed by calling the front desk. No bugs to speak of (at least not yet), the furnature could use an update, but is in generally good shape, room was clean. Breakfast is a bit of a nightmare the last few days, but that's due to most of the seating being outdoors and it's been in the 40s and low 50s the last few days and everyone wants to eat inside. I think it's in a good spot for other resturants, Old Town, and is right across the street from a Walgreens and Publix with a 7-11 right next door. Plus it's one of the closest offsite hotels to World Drive. The biggest bonus about the place is it's one of the few suite hotels I could find with two full bathrooms in each suite. I can't say I would highly recommend the place, but I would consider staying here again.
